Did he start off by saying 'hi I'm Paul Merson and I'm high on Crack'?
Alan Hansen: Man City Stars to End Excellent Fulham Record at Eastlands
These two sides met in the Carling Cup just last month and it needed extra-time to separate the teams for Man City to go through. I don’t expect this match to be quite as tight with City glad to be back at Eastlands where they possess an excellent record.
Mark Hughes’ team have now won their last 6 home league games including three wins this season. They’ve already beaten Arsenal and West Ham at Eastlands and will be confident of a London hat-trick this weekend. City have actually now won 12 of their last 13 league games at Eastlands although it’s worth noting that the only defeat in that time came against this weekend’s opponents Fulham.
Roy Hodgson’s team have been relatively erratic this season but will be buoyed not only by their 2-0 home league win v Hull last weekend but also their excellent record at Eastlands. The Cottagers are not renowned as one of the best travelling Premier League sides but they have now won on three of their last four trips to the blue side of Manchester. This includes scoring 6 goals in their last two visits. It’s hard to imagine that Fulham will find Eastlands quite so enjoyable this season with City’s array of attacking talent fit and available.
Successive draws at Aston Villa and Wigan have slowed down City’s momentum but this match will be viewed as a game they should win. The Citizens have scored in every match this season and although they’ve conceded in the last five in the league, City should be too strong for the Londoners. Hughes has a plethora of attacking talent fit and available ready to unleash on Fulham. The Cottagers have actually conceded two goals in each of their last three away games (all defeats) so the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy will be confident of goals.
Despite Fulham’s excellent record, this City side bears little resemblance to past City teams over recent seasons, so I’m backing the home side to get back to winning ways on Premier 10
City are a strong and very determined team. Manager Mark Hughes is slowly getting most of his players fit. Soon he'll be having the problem of naming his best XI.
Fulham haven't been brilliant on the road and I think they'll struggle at Eastlands with their massive workload. Three games in six days (two league games and Europa League tie) can't be a great prospect for them.
Verdict: 2-0

If all 3 of 'em have us going in the right direction, there can be only one outcome!!!
