Let's not worry about the referee we should let our football make the opposition worry about us.

If we dominate the game, don't let them have the ball and put away most of the chances we create ....... it doesn't matter who the ref is or isn't.

Who cares, he can't give them a penalty if they never get the ball in our box and it doesn't matter how much time he does or doesn't add on if we are 4-0 up at the time.

We never lost the Derby because of time added on ..... we lost because Micah Richards never closed down the pass to Owen and four other players had a chance to clear the danger the previous 30 seconds before manyoo scored.

We should all stop hoping the ref looks after us and take the possibility of bad decisions away by battering the opposition in any event.

Take control I say ..... Take control of our own destiny!

Agree that the result of any match is really in the hands of the players, not the ref. Controversial decisions only cost you when the game is on a knife edge. We should beat Wigan convincingly enough so that a bad decision here or there doesn't change the outcome.

I reckon Wiley will want to prove to the world that he's a capable official. I'd expect him to certainly put the yards in on this one, but the less controversy the better from his point of view right now!

Indeed, Lytham. Very well said.
