They cant allow 4 games in 9 days, it would have been better at the start of the season than that?

Not showing on Premier League or Sky Sports websites - not that that means anything.
Wow, that will be tight.

That'll be dangerous, though, sitting way too many hours in the Townleys for hours before the game. I'll be totally plastered come kick-off!

Well look at how we played against Fulham after the derby, Hughes blamed fatigue for a rubbish performance, 4 games in 9 days has got to be harder on the body than one tough game and one easy game after a 9 day break?
Its not acceptable.

We are going to have 6 games in a row with only a 3 or 4 day break between them, injuries accumulate a lot, fatigue can ruin a season when it's hard to get back in rhythm. Stupid fucking Barca friendly.

Still not ont net. That would give us a nice run of home games over Christmas, in fact 6 home games out of 9 after Anfield. Good chance to cement ourselves in the thick of things before Kolo & Ade bugger off.

I get the feeling that run could really spell out the way the season ends up. Worst case scenario, we slumped and looked more like a team that's heading for 7th rather than 2nd then restoring confidence might be a big factor that takes a while. I feel we have a lot more reasons to be optimistic than that though.
If we get injuries, then at least it's fallen the right side of January for us to bring in reinforcements. We already have a fair bit of depth, but this period could really illustrate where we need to strengthen the most.
If we come out with plenty of points, then we'll grow in confidence that we can prevail even when the fixtures are as heavy as this, kind of like that moment a few seasons back when Mourinho had all the Chelsea players take their shirts off after grubby a 1-0 win against Blackburn to prove to U****d they could keep the wins going.
