dave has a query.

No disrespect Jeff, but I reckon your only commenting after watching
highlights, I was at the game. Tevez could have and should have hit a
hatrick in the first 15 minutes ,Petrov missed a sitter.

Never mind 3-2 it should have been 6 or 7 for City.

Reply:- I actually watched the whole game and yes City could easily have ran
up a cricket score, but they didn't, The League of Injustice is about
factual inaccuracies not about what could have or might have happened. Some
fans no matter what happens are only prepared to see things form one side
and take exception to anything against their side, I still said City won
they were the better side, a very good side in the making but at the moment
work in progress. Even the most loyal City fan can surely see that.

Best Wishes

Jeff

Sorry I never explained the back ground, I stumbled on a thread by Winter who thought in his opinion West Ham were unlucky and had had a perfect goal disallowed, being a City fan I had to give him my opinion, and this is his reply.

He’s not a West Ham fan by any chance is he?

When I heard this fucking clown saying we were 'a work in progress' it pissed me off BIG time. Who the fuck is he to know what stage in their development a football team is at? He's no football expert...

And then this?!!

He says he 'only' reported on the game via the 'league of injustices' or some bollox like that... so why the fuck did you mention anything about how we're progressing as a team?

No offence Jeff, but your opinion on a team's performance is about as credible as Helen Keller's.

Either report on the inaccuracies of the referee throughout the game and leave it at that or just don't bother your arse reporting on it at all. We all have our areas of expertise.

Stick to yours you numpty.

It's about incorrect refereeing decisions, not missed opportunities.

Personally I think we should have a point for the manchester derby, but he didn't even mention that one.

Agreed, so when he says we're a 'work in progress', does he mean as in our ability to influence refereeing decisions then? Or is he talking about our missed chances? Because it is "about incorrect refereeing decisions", no?

No idea what you are saying there, it's when a penalty is given wrong or in this case when Cole was pulled up for a foul and Parker had buried the chance.

It only changed out GD as it turns out because in his table we won 3-2. However, we are in 4th in his table because spurs got points they didn't deserve.

How can someone looking at the highlights on tv make a judgement of how much force Cole used to pull back Lescott when the linesman looking at it from the other side & me, in the stand behind the linesman, both see a fairly routine free kick at the time it happens? The linesman flags, Toure only makes a token effort to stop the shot because he's seen it & the ref blows before the 'goal'. It's a routine, bog standard foul, which Ferdinand,Vidic,Terry will get 100% of the time & just the same as several the ref gave against SWP in a similar position.

Add to that the Lescott 'penalty'. If he's going to do this shit he should at least do it properly.

It's a fair point that play had stopped really before the ball was put in the net. The foul was given and effort stopped.

You know what I hate? When people bang on about disallowed goals that were never gonna be anyways if the ref never blew. Soon as the ref blew the defence shut off and let Parker get that cross. In reality Parker would have never got that cross and if he did and managed to shoot it Given would not have stood their. The fact is the ref blew and thats why our defence stood there let the cross and shot happen. Yet they bang on about a goal that was disallowed like it would have made a difference??

Surprised we didn't get a draw with the media saying the push on dj for Petrov's free kick was only minimal contact.

Anyway Winter's got a broken nose and he ruined the Masters a couple of years ago senting off 2 City players on finals night.

He's no better than a fat Grahame Poll.

I've met him a few times as he drinks in the same pub as I used to before Rangers games. He's a nice enough guy but has a huge propensity for talking bollocks which he has displayed here. He is also an attention seeker and I think he sometimes goes for the controversial option whether he believes it or not.
