Adebayor Appeal?

Anyone know what the hell is going on with this? I've been listening on the Radio and they are saying he should most certainly get a ban, a caution, a fine, decaptitated, shot; or not far off!

What I'd like your thoughts on please, are any of the undermentioned, or more:

Are we looking at a 1, 2 or 3 game ban?

Were the FA waiting to see how we did without him before making their decision?

Are they going to wait for the next Scum game to come around?

If a precedence has already been set with the likes of Chuckie, can they now impose bigger sanctions?

How long is it going to take to sort out?

If he gets anything other than a warning after Chuckle1s antics then there should be a fucking uproar

Was Neville actually charged tho, I thought they just gave him a warning without any official charges agains him?

If so, then Ade's charge could well result in a 'proper' punishment?

True, but what about Chuckies last indiscretion?

there is absolutely no way that ade can get a ban for this, neville does it twice and only gets a warning. the hype has died down abit and letting him go with a warning seems about right.

I read somewhere that he was charged because he was given a £5k fine and appealed it but they upheld the decision.

I stand to be corrected but I did read that in more than one article after Adey's indescretion.

Seen as though he never left the field of play and was over 30 yards away from the supporters he should have no case to answer to at all.

The fact they have waited until the end of the month to make their decision has confused me. All other decisions seemingly get dealt with quickly these days. By waiting this long and making a meal of it makes it harder for them to let him off. Hopefully they'll just give him a £10,000 fine.

We'd appeal if he did get a ban though I'm sure, would that mean he was able to play until the appeal was heard?

im sure if ade gets a ban, the club can appeal, and we should shout it out aloud about the fa and chuckle

Im sure he will get a ban. But if he does all the club has to do, is point to Chuckles latest indescretion (despite a warning to the same player, for the same offence 2 years ago), point to Van persies lovely message to us, after he scored in the last game, then point to Henry's 70 odd yard dash to the spurs fans, when he scored against them, for Arsenal (which the Arsenal fans loved by the way), and we will see if they uphold it or not.

But Im not holding my breath, as this is the FA, and we all know how inconsitant they are.

Which brings me nicely to the question of when? Anyone know why it is taking so long when Chuckies and RvPs was sorted so fast?

He is deemed to have been guilty of misconduct, they gave until the 30th to appeal - Neville/Bellamy werent charged with anything but their actions were reviewed - Ade's incident was reviewed by the Wednesday following Arsenal match.

I get it, cheers mate, and that's why I'm reading about Hughes contesting this.

another witness for the defence, another rag:

“It is like you lose consciousness for a bit, the kick that you get from the adrenalin,” Owen explained. “You can count on one hand the occasions when you actually just lose it. You have to go home and think, ‘What did I do for 10, 15 seconds there?’

MEN is saying our Solicitors are going to contest this ferociously quoting Chuckle1s behaviour and that of the Arsenal fans throughout the game...they will accept a fine and/or any other sanction but not a ban

Can't help thinking we're all assuming the FA is like a court of law IE: listening to evidence, fair play, lawyers etc, when in fact they do whatever they want.

Could go either way.

I might be being hopelessly optimistic, but I have read it that they've left a suitable time span for the fuss to die down and slap his wrists. I will be surprised and more than a little miffed if he gets a ban.

Thats how I see it. I'll be extremely miffed if he gets a ban. I reckon Neville did us a massive favour.

I think its quite obvious the arsenal fans should not be rewarded for their animalistic behaviour

So I take it we will confirm today that we are appealing and tomorrow will be the final decision?

What the fuck is going on???
