I hate when people on here post "internet warrior" type snipes about past or even present players when all they are guilty of is maybe not been quite as good as we had hoped when we signed them. Some people have no class.

Maybe theres some administrative fee involved with signing players? It could effectively be a 'free transfer' with the receiving club covering costs?

It's called having a laugh you miserable sod! I doubt he would actually let me use him as a washing line pole anyway.

and a derby day goal.
No one in there right mind other than KK would have paid what we paid for Jon Macken. He had previously shown nothing other than being a decent championship striker.
My friends works in the media in the preston area and friends with people at Preston. Apparently they were going to accept £3M for him but Moyles instructed then to go with £5M and work there way down. They went back to City at £5m and we said fair enough.
Utter madness.

Surely not?
Not.
He went for "an undisclosed six figure sum".
And it wasn't 200.00
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

I fail to see the issue. He went on a free transfer from Palace to Derby and then Derby sold him for £200 to Barnsley one year later. Looks to my like good capitalistic practice by Derby making a profit in a bad economy.
I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I am all out of bubblegum.

Ha, yeh i figured as much, but it just looks so ridiculous on skysports, especially with our 5,000,000 just below.
