You can get 500/1 with Paddy Power on a repeat performance.
Got to be worth a quid I reckon!

Forget the bet, those were the best 8 minutes of my day, and one of the best days of my City Life. And I wonder who scored the concillation goal for the scum; will he be there Sunday ;-)

What a day that was.
I still remember the shell shocked face of a young Paul Ince.
Will never forget it

I remember that day, stood in the Kippax 21 y/o , I can only hope the twat's right and we are still cocky and arrogant on Monday morn.
Hope that tool never learns that the thought of having the power of prophecy is a mixed blessing.

We looked mint that day, even though we were abit shit. It was Howard Kendall coming in that saved us wasnt it? Along with a bunch of old Everton croanies. Adrian Heath? Alan Harper?!
We finished on the same points as scum, who won the FA cup. Clive Allen came along, and the league was called DIVISION 1, which it should be renamed to.

Should've beaten em again the following year, but bloody Howard keele and his substitution saw us clawed back from 3-1 up to holding on for a 3-3 draw! We were looking unbeatable that day until our rhythm was briken. HK then fooked off back to Scouse 2 where he got what he deserved...a pickled liver and the sack.

Ian Bishop, it just doesn't seem that long!
Edit: I ended up in the Riverside in Hyde that night with the cabaret being a male stripper for the women. I was half cut and singing City chants very loudly, to the point where I was afronted by 5 or 6 of the scum. It was banter that turned ugly...............for them! They didn't realise that there were another 20 Blues behind me!!! All women of course ;-)

Oww the memories, was a teenager and my best m8s sisters boyfriend ( a rag and a couple of years older then us and a right hard fucker buy the buy) some how got three tickets for the kippax!! ill never forget me and my M.D. ripping the fuck out of him as goal after goal flew in! memory tells me he said something like carry on and ill batter the pair of you when we get home!! as we was jumping around all over him!!! things may have got lost in time but wasn't That the game wear the rags massed in the north stand giving it out to women and children then getting escorted to a section of the plat lane? just thinking as I spent a lot of time worrying about my little bro sat in the north next to belly Helen, on a derby day!!
whare the fuck has them 20 years gone
Q. Which is your favourite goal? A. It has to be the second goal I scored during the last-ever Maine Road derby. I heard the fans singing a new song: "Who let the Goat out?" and I thought, "I'm having that one!" Eyal [Berkovic] placed a perfectly weighted pass into my stride. I held off two defenders and the ball bounced in front of me, allowing me to make a gentle half-volley over Barthez. It was my 100th goal for Man City and particularly satisfying to score against Man Utd.
