Yep, and guess what... Wenger is 'fuming'. Apparently, he had already injured his groin before he joined up with Russia and Wenger told them not to play him. They did anyway

Excellent news, he is their main threat and without him they will be blunt.
Get Barry and De Jong to man mark Cesc out of the game and we will win this one.

Excellent news indeed, isn't Cesc still injured too?

I thought so! With those 2 out we have a brilliant chance to give it them, especially with Ade pumped up for it.
Roscicky (sp) is back in contention after playing 30 mins or so for Czech last night but if Cesc and Arseshaving are out im even more confident than i was before.

Yea I doubt Rosicky and Fabregas will be fully fit. I am confident we will grab 3 points from this one lads.

I have a very good feeling about this match!
Of course I need to sub Arsh out of my fantasy team now ;-)
Think Ade will score a couple essily this weekend if we get the supply to him right!

Not sure then and sure i read that Cesc had said to spanish press he's not sure where he'll be playing next year, which would mean he had linked up with spain so might be playing, but as you say he's obviously not match fit along with Rosicky.
Roll on sat, fooking hate international breaks.

If that's true it increases our chances quite a bit, balancing out one of our injured players. Could be an old manager team selection trick though.

Rosicky, Walcott, Fabs, VP, etc...it's a strong side kids. let's not get too carried away.
Arshaving out isn't bad news, but honestly i'd rather any of the three that can create the opportunities (Fabs, Rosicky, or Walcott) were out instead.
cheers

Apparently Rosicky isnt fit for 90 minutes and Walcott is still not 100% to start. Club statement said he is due soon after the international break. How soon isnt known yet.

Great news that Arse-Shavings is out, we needed news like that after hearing that Tevez & possibly Robbie are injured. Sort of levels it out for me.
