At the back Onouha for Toure, .....bit more beef at the back for this away trip. Also Petrov for Robby

If we sign Lescott, I couldn't see him starting cos his head will still be all over the place.

I think that we should stick with the team that started the game on Saturday at both Palace & Pompey. We've only played two competitive games so far and after the pompey game there will be an international break. This will give us time to let the dust settle over Lescott and get some work done with him.

It ain't broke at the minute so let's not try to fix it

But the team was changed from Balckburn to Wolves game !!

So should we not go back to the same line up as the last away winning performance in the premier league ?

Bellamy for the Pompey game. His defending from the front in away games will be vital.

Please please lets see Zab in for Micah - our luck will run out - we cannot keep getting away with the attacks down our right side being unchecked - Kolo is finding out just what Dunnie had known about having to cover 2 roles

I disagree, I think there will be a few changes because of last weeks game against Barcelona. Due to the warmer weather on Saturday we looked a little jaded later on...something which SWP has alread admitted on the OS. We have a squad now...lets use it

I think we might see some tweaking at Palace.
I wouldn't mind seeing Ned at right back.

>>>>Also Petrov for Robby

Never ever think of doing this!

Not a fan of Ned at RB always seems to look uncomfortable to me! He's a much better CB. I'd prefer to have Zab starting at RB

I agree, Neddy doesn't suite RB and never has IMHO - think he really lost his confidence in this possition under Pearce and it still showed against Barca. At CB he's natural and his positioning seems to be seccond nature, at RB it wasn't (but his quality still shone when called into challenges etc).

Would prefare Zaba at RB against Palace and Petrov on the Left wing too but wouldnt change much too else - We have to remember too that its early kick off Saturday.

And depending how they play Thursday should determine if we keep them in - aditionally I'd play Lescott against Portsmouth alongside Toure

Pretty standard really, leave the boozer about 3ish, jump on a national express £5 jobby, sleep all the way down. Watch the game then sleep all the way back. Easy.

Anyway, I think Bellamy should play against Palace due to his doggedness so obviously he can't play twice in three days- his legs would probably fall off. So for Portsmouth I'd keep Tevez and Adebayor, only difference being with Tevez on the right of a 4-3-3, Robson on the other side and big Nige coming in for SWP with the usual suspects in midfield alongside him and Richards, Touré, Lescott and Bridge across the back. Three points.

I think Dunne should start, and go along with pretty much what we've started the first two games with. Tevez up top for Bellamy though. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

I think sky are desparate for us and arsenal to win this weekend so they can "BIG UP" the title showdown the weekend after with all the usual cliche's like, both teams have 100% records going into this game, something has to give. The top scoreres agains the team who have yet to concede blah blah blah.

I hope we beat pompey 5-4

Pompey are struggling already, i'd go for the throat straight away and destroy them.

I think sneaking an extra player onto the park is the way forward.
This set up has a chance I feel.
