Mark Halsey has cancer

Not seen this posted anywhere else, apologies if I've missed it. Mark Halsey, our play off final referee has had an operation to remove a cancerous growth in his throat.
I know he's a ref, but get well soon

Absolutely, cancer is a horrible disease who I wouldn't wish on Bacon, let alone Halsey.

I hope he's alright. One of the better Ref's IMO and changed the course of our history immeasurably.

I don't think he's give us a single decision since 1999 but hope he gets well very very soon, i wouldn't wish cancer on anyone. Well, apart from everyone connected to Al Qaeda.
