Great stuff Chris.

I think when we go abroad we should bring a little something back....a sort of present for the fans. That Messi is a little something isn't he?

In Sweden it's live on Tele actually. What's everyone's opinion on this game, are we expected to field a strong first team in a friendly between two tough league games? La liga doesn't start for another couple of weeks but they do have the spanish Supercup on sunday so how much will Barca be up for it?

It's suppose to be a very important game for Barca and they don't treat it like a normal friendly as it's in honour of their first president. So I would guess that both teams will field nearly full strength teams for 45-55 minutes and then make the changes.

That first president memorial thing was news to me, sounds good. Wouldn't miss it whoever plays though

I'd like an answer out of Chris on this one, that seems rather counterproductive to the global brand.

Excellent news for us in the UK

the reason it UK only has to be something to do with TV/broadcast rights......

to screen the game in the UK the club have bought the UK broadcast rights to stream it anywhere else they would have to keep on buying all the broadcast right for the world.

Mind you this is a very big friendly against the best European club so it will be on TV somewhere globally and as such there will be streams for the match from the usual web sites

This is exactly the type of game that we should be going global with. We cannot get the live prem games as they are all sewn up by the TV companies. A friendly against the euro champs not being streamed globally is a missed opportunity by the club.

It may well be a missed opportunity

but it is a friendly and there are competitive Premier League games on the same day
