Edin Dzeko (24) und der VfL Wolfsburg stehen vor der Trennung. Und die Bundesliga vor einem neuen Rekord-Transfer!

Für 40 Mio Euro Ablöse soll der Torjäger (56 Treffer in 94 Bundesliga-Spielen) zum Scheich-Klub Manchester City wechseln. Das wären zehn Millionen Euro mehr, als Mario Gomez (2009 für 30 Mio von Stuttgart zu Bayern) gekostet hat.

Ist heute alles klar mit Manchester? Die Engländer sind der einzige ernsthafte Bewerber um Dzeko.

Personally he doesnt seem like our first choice to me, and i dont if hes worth that much money. If we are ''the only serious candidate'', then why do we need to offer 34 million? The player wants to come, no1 else is that arsed, so why dont we offer 15 million tomorrow at 9am?

Yeah but either way, united milan etc. dont have that much money to bid. So surely he'd be ours for around 20 million.

If offer the amount, talk to him, then pull out and bid less tomorrow. But that would piss Wolfsburg off and I suppose we could lose him to another team.
