Lineker and Wright on MotD however were full of praise and as former strikers, and fucking great ones as well as it goes, they know what value he is and where he does his work and damage. His heat map was brilliant. In the opposition penalty area when he scored and in the centre circle when he kicked off. Where it counts
Alvarez is not a replacement for him though, when Haaland doesn't play it's back to false 9 tika taka - without the pace of Sterling but with Alvarez hopefully adding more than the energy of Jesus.salford city wrote:nottsblue wrote:salford city wrote:Gota love the Beeb / MUTV with their analysis of Erling and how many touches he has. Indeed we have some strike force now

Although I fear you may be right, it's an unknown at the moment. How Alvarez would perform as a target man is unknown, although there's loads of youtube evidence, albeit against lesser opposition that suggest he would do it well.

Just wait for his next game. Question is will Klopp risk him in a derby. I'd be surprised to see him start

Cue BBC Sportswashing champion Banned Roan on full Rag message playing the sympathy card "Britain's most decorated player already suffering for two years hung his head as the judge told him the date of his retrial will not be for at least another year"

And apparently Gary Neville is facing a contempt of court charge over an instagram message relating to the case.
