He's the cream of the crop.

Very good

City's own Ginger Baker has kindly provided special cakes for Nottsblue's birthday... Best wishes & hope your celebrations were enjoyed!

They were, thank you

The City ace revealed he picked up a knock during Belgium's final match of the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Israel.

Luckily the injury wasn't too serious and he managed to run it off during the match - hopefully that's the end of it then!

“You had the music, the fireworks and Vincent leading the singing afterwards, it was not a normal night. It is something very special to be ranked No.1 in the world,” De Bruyne told the Star.

“It clearly means that as a team you are working in a good way and winning a lot of games, and that is the goal we have been trying to achieve.

“I did get a knock in the first half but that can happen and luckily I ran it off or I would not have got to be involved in the goals.

“It does hurt a little bit but it really wasn’t that bad so I’m fine.”

Many thanks for sharing this excellent blast from the past... It's very impressive watching Laid Back "baking Danish," in the sky!

Have to admit I was concerned about how much we were spending on Kevin as I hadn't seen a great deal of him but he has won me over. Makes football look very easy and that pass for Sterlings goal yesterday. Wow.

That's pretty much how I feel.

Aside from Palace away in his first game, he's had a goal or assist in every league game.

Has settled in flawlessly and looks like he's only going to get better.

I thought he was an exciting signing and had high hopes but they have so far been way exceeded. He's blown me away.

O yes.

I had absolutely no idea how good he was, but I believe he has the potential to be at Silva's level quite soon. I am very, very happy indeed.

He will take over from Merlin easily and enable Merlin to play at the top level for an extended time. ( ie our play will become less dependent on Merlin).

I'd still like to see us get someone like Isco in to replace Merlin long-term. Someone who is good in small spaces with a short amount of time.

I'm glad to hear that you had fun celebrations... City delivered your perfect belated birthday gift, by serving a victory on a Sterling platter!
