The constant shite around here just keeps getting worse. If the rumours are true and we've offered him a new deal but he's still stalling, then we need to give him a clear deadline. Either sign the fucking contract or fuck off now. Go and beg Madrid for an offer if they want you that badly. This endless sentimental shite is doing my head in.

As things stand, he'll probably be our captain next season, and that's exactly the problem. We seriously need to stop this fucking habit of handing the captain's armband to players who piss off the following year. Walker, KDB, Bern... enough is enough.

Surely the club know that if they are still negotiating come the summer and Spain have a strong world cup, he would be in pole position. Fortunately his value would also rise should the club want to cash in.

If we could bag approaching or even north of 200m for Rodri and Dias, that would be good business with the caveat that the club must have targets in sight who can be acquired at the right price.

I'm a little surprised we've not closed any business before the world cup.

I'm thinking nobody is keen to do any business before the world cup. Selling teams know their players might have a good world cup and enhance their value, players know they might have a good world cup and have better earning potential as a result, agents know all of this and so advise their clients to wait, buying clubs don't want to commit and their new signing gets injured at the world cup and can't start playing until November.

Sadly, it seems another loan.
We've really been fucked on that deal.

Man City sign Troyes forward Detourbet
French club Troyes have sold forward Mathys Detourbet to Manchester City.
Troyes announced the transfer on X and on its website without giving financial details.
According to L'Equipe City have signed the 19-year-old Frenchman for around £21.6m and he would be loaned to Monaco next season.

Really what's the fucking point? Echeverri went the same way. Sign players for the squad or not at all. We have enough talent coming up through the ranks .
Wedon't need to spend money and NOT bring them to Manchester. Do we need the money to gamble on players stock improving ? I 'd rather our back room recruiters spend effort on first team aquisitions

From what I have seen so far, we need to go scouting a few Moroccans. Fit, skillfully and motivated

Never buy any player on the back of a few good performances at an International tournament. It’s utterly irrelevant compared to the weekly slog of domestic football
