So would we change another manager again? Great stuff indeed! Hughes hadn't enough class, Mancini is completely crazy and Italian too, the next one? My own opinion is the more managers we sack the less we win!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Will Cooke and Marwood or Mancini go first? Because I don't think they will work together next season.

This guy doesn't seem to learn anything, whereas Pulis has pitched up better every time, and I don't think he's the man.

Mancini might not be the man, but Hughes wasn't either. I was convinced of it and I still am. IF something wrong has been done, it wasn't sacking Hughes, it MAY be having appointed Mancini but we were going nowhere under Hughes imho.

Anyway, another couple months or so and then we might get Mourinho, I wonder if he will be criticized so much in his first two months in charge, or if he will be allowed more time before it starts.

The scarf loving twat can officially fuck off out of my football club this summer. Marwood and Cooke should hang their heads in shame at ruining what was a encouraging season. We were the hardest team to beat in Europe with only 2 defeats, now we never look like winning.

How can anyone defend what this defensive cock of a manager has brought on our club in the last few months?
  • Destroyed the confidence amongst the players
  • Is tactically bombarding the players so so many instructions that they don't know where to turn or stand
  • Couldn't turn Robinho around and shipped him out despite being a "big name manager"
  • Got rid of Weiss as soon as he could when we only have 1 right winger in the club forcing Ireland to play their when he's shit on the wing
  • Plays a shit scared kid Boyata in the biggest games ignoring Nedum Onuoha
  • Plays Petrov on the right wing for no good reason
  • Forces SWP to the left wing where the guy disappears faster than the invisible man
  • Can't take Bellamy questioning his tactics
  • Shay Given has turned into Kasper in the goalkeeping stakes
  • He signed a past it Vieira who is so slow and very shite nowadays
  • Brought on a kid against Liverpool who looked so out of place it made us go backwards in the game and play with 10 men
  • Plays 3 defensive midfielders at all opportunities
  • Instructs the full backs to tuck in and defend the 18 yard line rather than deal with winger and block the cross
  • Chops and changes Ireland and SWP at the drop of a hat and never plays them in the same position for more than 2 games
  • Can't beat Stoke City so decides to play Bridge, Nedum, Lescott, Kompany, Richards, Zabaleta and Barry (7 DEFENSIVE PLAYERS FOR A CUP TIE)
  • Has destroyed the entertainment value at City and has fans questioning whether to spend money to watch the games
  • Manages with absolute fear of losing the game and has instilled a fear factor in the players' mentality
  • Has ensured that no teams fears playing us anymore as we concede the ball all the way to our 18 yard box instead of using blistering counter attacks and running after every ball.
  • Doesn't tell the players when they are due in for training until the day before messing up any arrangements they may have made
  • Doesn't have a good enough grasp of the English language to get his over complex tactics out to the players

But he wears a nice fucking scarf, isn't Welsh and never played for United so alls well that ends well.

I don't think we all said that it was a gamble. Some of our so called forum experts thought he was a cert to be a success. The downward trajectory of our results and, more importantly, the way we play suggests otherwise.

We should have stuck with Hughes until the end of the season and reviewed it. Instead we sack another manager mid-season and now nobody knows where the next win is coming from, what the manager has done to our attacking players or even for certain if he's on a 6 month contract with the option of a further 3 yrs or a 3 and a half yr contract full stop.

Jose would be a great appointment but what happens if he has a few bad results or the football isn't attacking enough for some fans, is he going to get sacked aswell and so the vicious circle continues...

A plan has to be stuck with for a reasonable amount of time and yet time after time neither whichever owner of the club or a vocal section of the fans against the manager ever learn.

Shinawatra stated top 10, Sven finished 9th - result is we sack him.

New owners takeover state top 10 then top 6. Hughes finishes top 10, we are 6th at Christmas under him and in a Lge Cup Semi-Final yet we sack him.

It's just fuckin ridiculous and by simply getting Jose Mourinho aint going to solve this until somebody at the top of this club has the balls to stick with a plan instead of ripping it up at the first sign of trouble.

As we drown in a sea of sorrow and recrimination I will just say that yes I do think Mancini is the man to get it right and teach us, the players, the club what it takes to be a top 4 side. It ain't going to be pretty but he has what it takes.

I figure that this is a good time to nail my colours to the Mancini standard.

I put this in another thread but it deserves to be here

I would like Mancini to come out and EXPLAIN to us all, why the hell he changed a perfectly good back four?

Zabba ----- Kompany ----- Lescott ----- Bridge

Kompany has been our best defender this season, however he is replaced by Ned who has very little game time. He decided to move Vinnie into midfield and puts our best midfielder this season on the bench.

These are the type of decisions that have left us all moaning and groaning and lost for words. I think its time Mancini helped us all understand what he is trying to achieve by doing this.

Chelsea at the weekend?
I thought Ned looked magnificent (mostly) and Vinnie was better able to express himself.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think this fella will achieve his or our targets (he's already missed them), but that lineout was good enough and showed it in the first half.
All that happened is that Pulis did more managing of the situation than the scarfed one
