Everything went quiet on both ends with us. No new transfers, no serious interest in letting players go.

All talk of a dedicated right back looks dead in the water.
This is a big mistake.
If the plan is to run with Nunes and Lewis, they will be ok for a lot of games but both of them, particularly Lewis will cost us by making stupid errors in key moments of big games.
Very silly from a club that has aspirations of being the best.

Posted this when it was mentioned last week. This says to me that we are not moving out any of our sick note defenders which is a concern after their injury??) hit season. Does not fill me with confidence

If true, a complete repeat of last season. Someone at the club has lost their mind

On Pep if we have not learned our lesions. I love Jonny Stones. Akanji is back up. Ake is decent, but all are fragile. Sort it City.

Going to be a great Season Guys.

"The Long Pep Goodbye tour"

We get to watch him half heartedly manage us until he fucks off to Play Golf.

There will be no radical style changes to accommodate the evolution of the game.

Going to be a repeat of last season slow insipid turgid shit.

Surrounding himself with all his old mates as he goes through the motions to collect his P45 and commemorative tiled Mosaic.

None of the wasters have gone, they are all guaranteed to start as long as they keep making Pep feel all warm and fuzzy until he walks out of the Door.

This whilst we feed Pep brother side Girona our top talent we should be BLOODING IN ENGLAND FFS.

When the team run out at Wolves with Akanji/Ake;/Nunes/Gundogan/Bernado/Lewis confirmation will be complete.

WE SHOULD HAVE FUCKED PEP OFF.

INSTEAD WE WILL NHAVE TO SACK HIM AT CHRISTMAS JUST TO TRY AND FINISH IN THE TOP 6.

HE HAS NO INTEREST IN ANY REBUILD OR IMPLEMERNTING A NEW PLAYING STYLE.

HE IS SIMPLY WORKING DOWN HIS CONTRACT SURROUNDING HIMSELF BY ALL HIS MATES

Putting everything in capitals doesn't make it right.
We didn't struggle to finish top 6 last season in the worst and most injury hit season going.
I would imagine at Wolves they'll be maximum 2 players starting from your list above.
Eddie, Ait Nouri, Nunes/Lewis, Gvardial, Dias, Reijnders, Rodri, Foden, Marmoush, Haaland, Cherki
So Nunes or Lewis and i've put maximum of 2 in case Bernie starts as captain possibly instead of Rodri.
That's a pretty strong team with plenty in reserve.

The resident "KAREN" being overly dramatic again.

Only the points i wished to put emphasis on were in Capitals Karen.

Agreed. I do think he will go with Dias and Josko as first choice cbs with Khus as either rb and / or first back up cb.

Reis fucks off to Girona. Another one we will never see again .
A waste of £30 million. There's merit in getting one for the near future but our young players are loaned out if bought in or fucked off from our youth teams and never brought back.
Foden iz the only exception of a great potential making it to a great player. Probably inspite of Pep rather than because of Pep.
Echeverri next.
The transfers celebrated and welcomed in January are just a sop to prevent a fan revolt. Any other club would have binned Pep by now.
Our season now seems to hang on a Rodri recovery
There will be no change. We will continue our spiral into the shitter

Khus needs to be playing, I think he’s a brilliant defender and is the future. Get him in now with Gvardiol

Both be going on loan no doubt keep the crock cunts instead, I’m so not arsed about this season just not the same boring uninspiring football I dread again.

Normally I'd be buzzing with a week to go before the season starts. Im with you C72 in that I'm not really that bothered yet. Maybe it's because we haven't had much of a pre season? And once we get underway it'll be business as usual
