Does Manuel change a winning formula? Plus KDB wont have had much time with the first team. He signed and then went on international duty

I don't think you change a winning team just yet. Unless you've got an injury or someone unavailable due to the international work. Kun won't play much tonight I don't think so he should be fine no matter when he arrives. Sagan is the only worry from what I've read. Fernandinho not in the starting XI for brasil tonight so he should be okay as well.

KDB will get 30 mins or so coming on for Navas I'd bet on Saturday depending on how we fare.

Cheers

Christ have we got Carl "The Cosmos" Sagan playing for us ? ☺

I can't wait to see more of KDB in a City shirt. Two perfectly weighted passes today to split the defence, the one for Navas and then Yaya.He looks convincing already and he hasn't even had a chance to bed in to the team yet.

Barca's front three is possibly better but there's not as much depth and the same for Madrid. This season could well break records

Bell, Lee, Sumerbee and Marsh possibly.

That could start an endless debate.

Did they all play together? Had Lee not gone to Derby by the time Marsh arrived?

Add Law too. 1974 LC Final, I think they all played.

THey all played in what looked like a 3-2-5 at times!! I was there and it was exciting stuff. Pity we lost 2-1 to Wolves. Bloody John Richards!!

I was there too. Bloody Gary Pearce, remember?

Named among the substitutes, De Bruyne might not have expected his City debut to begin as early as it did but an injury to Sergio Aguero pressed him into action against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. With David Silva and Raheem Sterling also injured, De Bruyne soon took creative responsibility, fashioning five chances, more than anyone else on the pitch.

He showed his speed too - clocked as City's fastest player, according to the Premier League tracking data - and that was never more apparent in the fast break that should've seen him register a first assist had Jesus Navas not missed with the goal gaping. At least there was a late winner for his side and plenty for the Belgian to build on from this encouraging debut.

This was partially posted in the MotD thread as well but it's so good, it needed to be posted twice.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Kevin's Dad is named Herwig, which loosely translates as fighting warrior, in Dutch.

Kevin has inherited some of these name traits... After all, it takes a warrior's personality to compete well, in football... and create a new life & career, in a new City!

Rightly so.

Let's not forget that our lightning start was largely due to the pace of raheem and Jesus out wide.

Kevin brown is no silva but could he sit in that ten role with the two whippets out wide?

Edit: or was this in relation to Sunderland? Even so a viable option
