***Champions v West Ham Official Match Thread***

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Far too easy for West Ham to play their way into our box. We aren't closing down, we are shite at the back and up front it's hit and hope. Hammers looking the better team by a clear margin.
Nice break by Silva and Haaland can't get there . Has Haaland got a right foot?

Our corner given away and West Ham break for a shot. Piss poor

Eh? After Foden’s season last season you were saying he didn’t influence games? He literally dragged us to the title

Mental opinion!

He doesn't, he has flashes. But not now

He had a whole season where he influenced pretty much every game!

He was PL player of the year last season. Something not quite right this season. He was rubbing his stomach when he came off last match. Then there’s talk of problems off the field. Not sure what to make of it.

Ref gives yellow to kovacic for a mild bump, yet fails on Alvarez manhandling tintin on a break forward

West Ham press us back to the keeper very easily , all we then offer is a hit and hope and they pick up any 50/50. The basics just aren't there for us .
It's like V12 running on 3 cylinders.
Akanji very poor. Haaland's second touch is a tackle and Foden is a shadow of his former self. De Bruyne doing nothing but diving quite well.
Thought we may have turned a corner but it could have been alcohol induced.

Do well to get 3 points today

KDB made it look a lot worse than it was. He had no intention doing anything else

That's what Savinho and Haaland should be doing more often. Brilliant goal. Great pass by Foden in the build up too.
