When this thread started I said no because he came across as arrogant and reminded me of Sancho.
For me he has added 'thick as a brick' and embarrassing to the arrogance. That goal celebration with Henderson is just embarrassing, even if you are only 19.

Arrogance combined with stupidity is not a good combination. Let Liverpool or whoever have him.
wait till you see him in his City shirt aged 4, it'll melt your stony heart

It's a yay from me. He can play, he's got a good engine, gets goals and he's not above leaving a mark on someone. He'll be great to replace Gundogan

well they are sticking with the three caballeros, so even better for City in the future .

At some stage you have to demote the over 30s to side players.

I'm loving the fact that Jack is stepping up as a midfield controller like Tin tin and gündo and Bernardo . It would be nice to keep Gündo next season,
but more important is young Bernie.

Toxteth taproom aka BBC Sport reporting dippers "will not make a move for Bellingham this summer because of the money involved"
Where on earth might he go....?

This is going the same way as Erling.
All the Real, Bayern, Red scouse and rags bullshit.
They all hate the very thought he'll end up at City.

But on another note, even if he doesn't end up with us, this will piss off all the gobby scousers who were smugly saying it's a done deal.

Notice how the narrative is that the dippers have ended their interest and are pursuing other options? Not that they have probably been told by Bellingham and his representatives that CL is a non-negotiable caveat.

They have simply been snubbed.

And imagine the headlines if that was us? Parasites

From BBC

"Looking around the Twitter landscape now and the 'Jude Bellingham' search throws up an interesting headline.

A number of accounts are tweeting that according to German publication Bild, the sought after midfielder has ruled out a move to either Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris St-Germain because he wants to play for a club with values like "passion, honour, and reputation", rather than money."

Hahaha

This coming from Bild, which I believe is a publication from Axel Springer - hardly a media house with honour or reputation!

It seems as if Bellingham's made up his mind. To be honest, I don't really mind a steep price considering the deals we've done with them in the past (although I know there's no room for sentiment in business), but I don't see who else would be in the market for him now to inflate the transfer fee. Unless Newcastle are dark horses in the race if they get CL football.

The thought of Bellingham Foden and Grealish alongside Alvarez and Haaland without mentioning KDB Gundo or Bernie is frightening

How fucking pretentious is it for a football club to first of all leak to the media that they are "pulling out of the race " to sign Bellingham and then follow it up with the manager saying as much as they'd love something, they have to do things differently?!

Every fucking club that either can't afford or simply misses out on a player could release this bullshit each time.
But they don't.

Because they're not so far up their own arse to think everyone else needs a statement to explain they're not able to complete a signing
