This from the BBC feed
That minute of silence was observed impeccably by the majority of supporters inside Anfield.
So not observed impeccably then. You cannot polish a turd

They dared not play the National Anthem at Anfield. Even with BT microphones turned to minimum the mass jeering of a fragmentary attempted moment of silent respect was utterly unspeakable. (Prompting the comment "impeccable silence observed by some but unfortunately not all".) What a stain on Britain the dippers are - if ever a team deserved instant descent into oblivion they do.

All this crap just to say Salad was offside !
Liverpool 1-1 Ajax
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah races through on goal but the bouncing ball and Ajax goalkeeper Remko Pasveer get the better of him.
Harvey Elliott then skews the loose ball into the side netting as the flag is raised.
beeb !

Liverpool were the better team, they kept trying and scored in the last minute. A much improved performance from them.
Despite the above, to me they still look like a team in decline. There is definitely something missing with them so far this year. There biggest problem will be if the other PL clubs think so to. If they actually are forced to fight for points in every game i.e. 'the emperor has no clothes'
As ever time will tell but I am optimistic about this.

Celtic 1 up against Shaktar. They deserve it but poor quality game really. Despite big John Hartsons enthusiastic commentary
“I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.”

The commentators seem largely blind in the Celtic game. Crossed the dead ball line they said offside, clear corner they said goal kick
Great fun

Celtic and Rangers are like Liverpool, more of a cult than a football club.
All three are the pits.

Chelsea next two games are the double header with Milan. They could be on the verge of going out on matchday 4!
