Owen has just creamed himself, think that must've been the bestest goal ever.
I know. It was a tap in. No more no less. Yet Owen thinks it's a goal of the month contender. A replay for both of these actually isn't a bad thing for us as it goes
Excellent result for us. West Ham will have no trouble from the ref in the home tie, either.

How the pundits believed it was a fair score I'll never know.
I thought payet was extremely lucky not to get a second yellow for diving for a pen before he scored. Big call that affected the outcome and that didn't go rags way.
I must've missed that. The one I saw was much more if a call for a penalty as the one on Benteke last week.

Interesting that they even have to report it like that. A few years ago it would've been seen as a disappointment not to beat a team at home, now a draw is seen as a win.
How times change. Much for the better.

Can we please buy payet, just so we have someone that can take freekicks and corners.

The decision to fuck the FA cup off now looks silly
Not really, the win in Kiev gives us a great chance to show our wares. The FA themselves can take the blame for us not being able to compete.
Sure as hell it looks silly. Even with our current form I'd back us to beat all of those teams at Wembley
The FA can go fuck themselves but our club priorised CL which we are never gonna win this season anyway over the FA Cup and I'm not happy with that. I do hope this was the last time we did that

Bit weird to choose You'll Never Walk Alone. Is there no German song they could sing that actually relates? Repairing a city after the war has nothing to do with someone dying at a pointless football match. Pathetic really but from what I've heard of Dortmund fans they are just that.

quite an eerie 2nd half too. a stadium of 81k+ fans and no one is signing or chanting or anything. there was only some sporadic applause.
and, if you paid attention, you'd know that there are at least 5 clubs that sing YNWA.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

It was such a weird comment as no one had mentioned anything about any one particular club singing regularly.

Anyone notice PSG wrapped up the French league with a 9-0 away win?
And there are folks who think we can win the CL?
These, Barca, Bayern, Real to name four would give our lads on current form a footballing lesson.

Speaks volumes for the weakness of the French league and the strength of the premier league than it says about PSG being a great team.

Yes - they would thump us on current PL form.
But not on current CL form (the players are interested in this competition).
That is why we have a shot at the CL - an outside shot but a shot none the less.

You cannot distinguish form between the PL and CL. It is not like a tap to be turned on and off. We are playing well below par at present. I just can't see us lifting that just because it's the CL. It wouldn't surprise me if we lost on the night tomorrow. We will go through as we won't lose by three but a 1-0 defeat is not beyond the realms of possibility.
As it goes, the rag derby on Sunday is a far more important game for my money. Lose that and I think Top 4 becomes very difficult.
