Been very impressed with Edin and his effort. No way we should get rid, especially for the joke that is £19m!!

Who the hell thinks we're selling Dzeko?

Finally we have four strikers who I think we're all happy with to start the season and now we're going to screw with that?

Good half in shite conditions so far.

This Dzeko/Negredo partnership is looking good isn't it. Dzeko playing like he did with Grafite when Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga.

Seems to thrive with another big man strike partner next to him.

For the first time since the takeover, we are seeing a traditional strike partnership developing.

Dzeko looks a completely different animal & much much happier.

Pity about the weather. It has kept Sunderland in the game & is impairing our efforts to get the routine working.

Whether we win or lose this, I'm not arsed though. I'm excited.

The whole thing looks potentially miles better to me.& we've not even got out of 1st gear or had any time to learn the playing style.

Read it somewhere. Spurs I think it was rumoured to have offered that price. It's clearly bollox and we'd be fucking mental to consider it!

Ah, may have been in the cage, so definitely bullshit. Nothing to see here!

All Dzeko ever really needed was consistent game time. He struggles more than most with rotation and I'll never understand the time we rotated him after he scored 4 at spuds.

As far as the approach and routine is concerned the pitch has almost made it impossible to practice this, which is disappointing.

It was in the bollox from yesterday - there was an article from a Spurs web blog which was basically a rumour (and nothing more).

I know I give him more shit than most, but I have always maintained that a side playing to his strengths will have him banging them in.

Negredo looks like a great partner for him, Aguero and he should know each other well enough now to work together, I think that JoJo will be the revelation though, but I expect JoJo to score more than Dzeko when they play together.

why we do not cross ???
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

You probably give him as much shit as most of us to be fair, but anyone with a hole in their arse can tell that he'll do better now Mancini has gone.

Interesting that you think Jojo (fuck I hate that nickname) will score more. Be interesting, but a great position for us to be in. Like you said, 4 fairly settled world class strikers can't be bad!
