The fact that we are having Nike as our kit manufacturer shows how big we are as an international brand now: the profits from international sales to fat spoilt kids in Malaysia and suchlike will more than outweigh the loss of revenue in the domestic market. I've never understood why SE Asia (in particular, maybe other parts of the world) view Nike as some kind of upmarket label of respectability, when, in reality, they make poorly designed items using second-rate materials and child labour.
Personally, I don't give two hoots about the child labour aspect, but I'm not going to pay upwards of €70 for some coloured tent lining advertised as Extreme UltraDuraTecElite(TM) material to fool some 11 year old and his parents into thinking there is actually a reason for the inflated price.
