I'm tryin to let it all sink in but so many things are going through my mind
I cant quite realise it yet
I was up very early, trying to deal with all the nerves, checking the clock nearly every minute till finally it was time to put the TV on and watch the game
went completely beserk when Zabba's goal went in, as I really thought the hardest part had been done
barton's red card didnt gave me a good feeling at all
because whether you defend with 10 or 11 men, when everybody is defending, everybody is defending that doesnt change one bit
this was such a crazy game I mean we probably had 100 corners or so
when it finally came together in those dying seconds, just started humping and dancing around, screamed yes yes yes like a 1000 times and gave my dad, who was watching the game with me, a big hug
he was watching me like 'does this weirdo live in my house'?
I was planning to head for the pubs after the game but ofcourse stayed watching until after vinnie lift the trophy and then, as I taped the game, kept watching minutes 90-95
then I watched it again
and again and again and again
for an hour or so, just couldnt believe it
it was also a waste of tissues cause every time I watched those 5 mins again I just started crying again
was barely able to keep the tears away when it seemed to go wrong but then after the game came the waterfalls
I did eventually go to the pubs in my hometown for a big celebration
had a couple of nice discussions with some neutrals, who has seen quite a few football games in their lives, and yet never had seen such a game and such an explosion of joy after it
I mentioned this on here already but there was a carnaval in my hometown last year when we won the Cup and this year it was yesterday
I'm definitely gonna check out which date it is next year
while I still can only try to understand the craziness that has happened, I would just like to thank the Manchester City Football Club and everyone, yes everyone involved, even security and stewards who looked like they did a great job during that classic pitch invasion
what a day
