I can only reiterate the feelings that we all have about this appointment. We were led to believe that we now have people in power at CIty that really want to take on board the fans feelings but we have been let down massively.

I don't think the club will be in an doubt of the the fans reaction to this appointment. If they don't read this forum or Bluemoon then the MCFC facebook page should be enough.

Mancini wanted him six months ago so this must be seen as him getting more of his way now. Whether Cook & Marwood knew how disliked Platt is among City supporters and whether that was a factor in him not being hired earlier only insiders would know.
