Seems like Bayern have an agreement for Wirtz with his camp.
No worries, there is still Gibbs-White there

I see we are linked with Kerkez as a left back.
I think that would be a really decent choice. he looked excellent.
Imagine having a proper left back.

Wouldn't it be great? He could play literally anywhere.

Except left-back, obviously.

Romano is saying we are going to push for Gibbs White.

As underwhelming a signing as there potentially has been in the last few years. Can only think of Haaland as being the only genuine first class signing of recent years.

I think Gibbs White is an excellent player. Huge part of why Forest have done so well. Good pace and energy too. And he's really good pals with Foden so might help him get his mojo back too!

Genuine question because I rarely watch football outside of City; how many Forest games have you watched this season? Asking because looking at GW's stats he's no better than what we currently have - and for £100m could we not get someone with CL experience and a bit better?

Stats aren’t the be all and end all

GW is often the guy who pings the pass out wide to Elanga or Hudson-Odoi who then cross for Wood to score. Instrumental in the goal but not registered in “stats”

Not saying I want him by any stretch, but he is a very good player for Forest who are where they are due in no small measure to GW.

I agree we have players who have the potential to be as good as him in Bobb and O’Reilly and if Foden sorts his shit out and decides he wants to be a footballer again he pisses over him.

But these rumours aren’t going away and we just have to hope that’s all they are. But the lads I know who go regularly to Forest are desperate to keep him and would be gutted if he left

He’s miles off a £100 million player maybe £40 tops anything over that we’re getting dry bummed again

I'm not a huge admirer of GW.

Kerkes would be on my list.

Cheers for that Notts.

Like I said, I've not seen much of him. Saw him last weekend at Wembley and he was awful if I'm being honest. Missed that sitter and just seemed to be a headless chicken.

That was just one performance, but id say Chris Woods is probably why Forest have done so well - 19 goals without a top top player assisting you isn't to be sniffed at

I watch 99% of televised matches on TNT and Sky and MOTD every week. I'm confident in saying he's a very good player. Just looking at goal and assist stats don't give the full picture at all.

As others have said he's no where near £100m player though and it's an area that we're not desperate for. But if we do end up getting him I think we'll end up being pleasantly surprised.

I think people are comparing him to kdb where as I see him as some legs for our midfield. How often do we break and have to then back and wait for the older lads to catch up? We sign him we will need a creator, not one or the other.

Side note but being home grown helps too. Surely stones will be off, Walker as well.
Tracking back is overrated.

I imagine its because hes English and 1) the quota and 2) peps.quotes when he came here to say he believed in filling the team with national players (which i agree with tbf) but dont likenGW

Gibbs White and Paqueta most likely. To complete the scenario.

If those two are the answer I dread to think what the question was. Or indeed whether we can mount a proper title challenge
