Hmmm... that is presuming I didn't have a flight booked for that game. Only to see my passport was out of date... only to get an express passport.... only for the flight to be cancelled due to ash cloud... only to catch the boat to holyhead and drive to manchester... only for paul fucking scholes to score that goal... only for us to see stephen ireland in his ridiculous car, stopped and texting on his phone, not looking at the road... which was scholes road...
Only to drive to stoke by accident and by the time we reached holyhead we missed the boat home and had to wait six hours for the next...
So it could have been worse!
I had to let my sister-in-law use my season ticket for that match because of the ash cloud. I was stuck in Spain, so I went down to Málaga from Madrid for the weekend. Turned out alright - everything but the football, that is. Oh and having to spend my entire birthday in airports the following Wednesday. But Málaga was cool.
Fucking Ireland half asleep. I wish I hadn't been reminded about that.

Happy Birthday ODub
wondered why you were so fucking perky today
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

I am the 19%, however as I said I wouldn't make a judgment until Christmas, his clock is ticking.

I think if you'd run the poll now from the start it'd be close to 90%.
Once we are top of the table I will upgrade to very satisfied.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Pellegrini has noticeably got hugely confident in his pressers the last week ....... todays on SSP was class for me taking a swipe at his critics about not scoring 4 or 5 against the mighty Bayern ...... "they forgot who we were playing away" . Class, pure class for me.
Not really here

Happy birthday OD!
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I'm very satisfied with the Count's home form but most discombobulated with the away form. I feel the same about Navas too.

Progress tomorrow night then a nice little spanking for Fulham followed by arsenal chelski draw and things will be getting very satisfying.
We really need to have good high score away win in the league soon.

Dub, I think the only "agenda" that posters have is that they want the club to be as good as we possibly can be be with the resources at their disposal. Some, including me, think that some of the away perfomances in the league fell way below what could be expected. All will be peace and light on here if/ when that is put right.

When that is "put right" we'll be the greatest club around.

when that is 'put right' ... there will be many that find something else to complain about.
this point of view is a bit odd ... basically there are a bunch of people that cannot be satisfied in any way unless we are ... winning every game? Must be a recent development or else I don't know how they lived with themselves as city fans in the long, long ago ... in the before time.

This is what I don't get. And I know I'm being accused of having an agenda myself, but "getting it right" is perfection no?

that's how I take it ... but far be it for me to put words into anyone's mouth! I feel like we could go on a 20 game win streak ... then lose a home game and a bunch of people would immediately go back to being dissatisfied. Odd way to go about it if you ask me.

Now uprated to 'Very Satisfied'
3 points off the top of the league
finished joint on points with the European champions and beat them away
Semi Finals of the league cup
Scoring goals for fun
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"
So, keep calm and do it the United way
"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012
