I’d be surprised if we don’t go in for Guimaraes.

His buyout option clause kicks in on June 1st according to some online barcodes - they think Arsenal are in the frame.

Cheeky fucker or what?

He's not as unhappy with his lack of game time as most of us on here. He's been a sick-note for the best part of this season and he wants to be careful what he wishes for

He's been a sick note period

Every season he's missed lots of games. He is a great player but too unreliable.

Seems he's now been charged with four counts of direct match fixing, by getting himself booked when he or someone connected with him had bet on him being yellow carded.

Good player but he has less minutes than John Stones in the last three seasons so no. We don't need another biscuit.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Later stages of Saints vs Leeds and Saints winning 1-0

THB has an obligation to buy clause for £20m if they win.

And the downside is Leeds now won’t go back for Phillips

I am a bit gutted about that. I can’t see Southampton, Ipswich or Leicester being stupid enough to go for him

Im not even sure leeds would be stupid enough to take him for free in the championship! We are stuck with him until some club becomes desperate. Cant see him kicking a competitive ball for us ever again.

He’s still got 4 years left on his contract. He signed a six year deal with us.
