As has been discussed already, there are a lot of Girona's players attracting interest and most of these have a connection to us and the CFG. I don't think the manager is doing himself any harm with his tactics and the way he has them set up either. Could be an interesting summer IF they can keep pace with Franco's boys and get chumps league as I think(?) There may be ownership conflicts if we both qualify??

As far as I can see the CFG own 49% of Girona which doesn't affect ownership rules according to UEFA. Red Bull Liepzig and RB Salzburg are both owned by Red Bull and are both playing in the Champions League so I don't really see an issue. But then again it's City.

That does appear clear - thanks

Well well well…

According to a new report from The Athletic, Manchester City coaches felt that now-Chelsea star Romeo Lavia was ‘more suited’ to playing the holding midfield role in Pep Guardiola’s side than Kalvin Phillips after just a few of his first training sessions with the club.

Romeo Lavia left Manchester City just days after Phillips had completed his move from Elland Road, joining Southampton on a five-year contract in a deal reported to be worth a total of around £14 million, with City retaining a £40 million buy-back clause and a 20% sell-on.

I cannot understand the loan without an obligation to buy. Any favours to the likes of hater Brady just don’t sit right.

Even if it was true, the kids playing a dangerous game. Real spunk all their money on Mbop this summer and this lads refused a contract with us until that point and has to come back cap in hand. Very dangerous for him, hopefully he’s being advised well.

He was that turkish kid from memory - either attacking midfielder or striker? Had rave reviews then we sent him out in loan never to be seen again

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Morgan Rogers from Middlesbrough.

Villa have paid an undisclosed fee for the 21-year-old, who joined Boro from Manchester City last summer.

He came through the youth ranks at West Brom before leaving in 2019 for City, who sent him on loan to Lincoln, Bournemouth and Blackpool.

Rogers has scored seven goals in 32 games this season, including one against Chelsea in the League Cup semi-finals.
