They still have to visit ourselves, the dippers and the barcodes. If they come out of that with 9 points fair play to them.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

VAR looked at plenty of fouls and potential handballs and didn’t call the ref once. I don’t think we can blame the ref for giving 8 mins when Bournemouth started timewasting on minute 1. Got what they deserved in the end and it’s just a shame for us.

There was no cheating in this game, they played better and deserved their win despite my frustration watching it, I just knew they would win…..and there you go !!

I have this overwhelming feeling that the gods are with Arsenal this year. On to the next round of matches.

The Gods. Interesting name for the PL.

Fellas, remember how many "titles" Klippy won with last minute goals? The Famous Kop was ordering buses for their parades. They had one every week.

100% it's still in our hands. Play good, do the job and put tremendous pressure on them and they will crack.

I did not see the game but it sounded like they fought tooth and nail for their win and they deserved it.
From 0-2 down to 3-2, 31 shots Vs. 4, all goals sounded legit, no penalties given their way, etc...
Well done, they are fighting, not panicking and that is to be admired.

Arsenal should get 9 points from their next three games, then they start that really difficult run of 7 games.
We need to stay within touching distance so that everyone of those games is like a cup final to Arsenal i.e. draining them.

The title destination will probably come down to stamina and keeping a cool head.
Games like Arsenal's today build confidence but the flip side is they drain teams mentally and physically.
You can only go to the well so often and Arsenal have been their a few times recently.

They four games in quick succession now, thur - sun - thur - sun, more demands on their players even if they rest some of them.

Arsenal are favorites IMO but If City can keep it to 5 points for the next three games, Arsenal will then have it all to do.

That's fine if all teams are reffed in the same way but they are not. We get keepers taking half a minute for goal kicks from the 1st minute and no bookings until the 88th if at all, our keeper booked in the 1st half for time wasting against Arsenal. No excess added on time in our games for the time wasting. Our players get booked for the first foul yet certain players are allowed to foul continuously without a card. Different rules.

I've posted on the other thread, but I've noticed that the different rule thing applies when we are drawing, or we are one up. When the floodgates open and we score, we often get all the logical decisions in our favor.
Even some soft penalties.

I think that is the narrative, try to compensate but it really does not matter for us.

Just watched the Arsenal game on MotD. One of the penalty shouts was maybe a penalty, not one we'd get in a tight game but probably if we were 4 up. When Arsenal scored the winner the full bench, players and staff, ran on the pitch. Did Arsenal not just get a fine, along with ourselves, for failing to control their players. Surely another fine coming up?

None of the penalty shouts were valid. They were looking to give the Arse something .

Secondly , their excessive jubilation at getting the third delayed the rest of extra time by at least a minute . Yet that Arse of a ref blew up within seconds of the restart.

Yes they should be severely fined for the celebrations . Disgraceful behaviour .

Needs to be consistent.
The ref blew at exactly the end of the designated stoppage time against Forest the other week even though Navas had been "injured" for 2 minutes
