Mate, I think Stones has played well this season in more than just the Burnley game.

Both Olympiacos games he was strong as well.

Yes, not the best opponent, but either way he did put in good performances.

Laporte is on the bench as a result.

Rodri’s out ball to Kev there shows where he can be effective.

He’s been quietly doing much better as the season’s progressed.

Only 2 instead of at least 4 - they should shape themselves a bit more ... too casual

Mahrez impressive work rate and overall today. Out to prove the doubters wrong. I like it.

I believe I was mistaken as I wasn’t looking carefully and it was his pass, not Cancelo’s that led to one of the goals.

Decent first half. At least were plying attacking football again.

i think you mean Ed screwed up there.

He didn't need to be out there but as I say he wouldn't have done so if he didn't trust the player in front of him, that said stones should have looked to see where the keeper was and not assume.

Nah nah , treading water there . Fulham are not dangerous . I think Ed gets bored sticking on the five yard line .

Stones played it in a direction away from the goal , which is correct , he shouldn't need to look up . Ed needs to tell them where he is .

I wonderer if we have our fans at the ground, we would go forward a lot quicker and not do a million passes in our own half as the groud would get on their backs

No I was right at first. It was Cancelo’s ball, although Mahrez did have major involvement in some key chances.

Take that.

2-0 and cruising. An early goal second half and the floodgates could open. We look sharper and more focused it must be said and they aren’t showing much up front as yet. Dias at the back is what we have missed since Kompany, a real presence at the back and the forward has almost resigned himself to not seeing much of the ball before the game has even started thus limiting his output

More of the same please

Perhaps because he doesn't disappear for twenty minutes at a time ?

I wish we had a decent front 3. Sterling, one goal from 4 chances and not much else. Mahrez and Jesus may as well have the day off and I'm pretty sure any able bodied human could do what Gundogan does.
