Good player Coutinho. Mignolet can't catch though.

The 2nd half will be very interesting to see if Villa can improve and have some control of the game.LPool are much better organised through midfield and defence than the Arse.If they stay in total control it will be a 2 or 3 nil stroll but I have a feeling there will be more to this match than that.

My brother's a Liverpool fan, I told him that Sturridge needs to feel the luhvvvve
And that Kolo would do the business for them, luhve or no luhve

Sturridge is headed on the right path at least, I get the feeling at one point Barton and Sturridge were at the same point in their careers, so we know where the wrong choices will take you.

Agree, there was a point after the Chelsea move when you hear the rumours of parties and not fit to play when you could imagine him going down that route like so many gifted players have done. He obviously had a good dose of advise and a kick up the arse by daddy etc.

If Villa had played the 1st 35 mins like they have played the last 35, they wouldn't be behind. Now they are chasing the game & vulnerable to counter attacks, due to not being able to string 2 passes together earlier.

Shouldn't be getting free headers though & heading the ball down to an opposing striker on the edge of your own box is no good at all. Lucky to not give a pen away just then too.

Good throughball and Benteke drew out a decent save, Villa deserve something from this.

Still wish we had him. Kolo & nasti would make me feel a lot better than garcia/boyata/richards & nasti.

Sturridge, Ireland, Sir Joseph, Michael Johnson
We've had quite a mix of talent that came through our Academy

(and then there was Lee whatshisface, that ended up at Norwich, I think; or went to them from us)

We should certainly have replaced him with similar.

Villa have been the better side for most of the last hour.

Delph has been immense in that period after being awful earlier.

Alan Smith has given Sturridge motm for one touch.

Sky Sports 'game of the day' fucking difficult choice to muster through the shite - ends up being a 1-1 draw S'hampton/Sunderland ... Speaks volumes.

But don't worry the fuckwit also known as Dwight York is the intelligent pundit to talk you through the excitement

Thank fuck i didn't cancel movies yet..

As long as it's not Howard Webb reffing their game vs the Rags they have a chance.
