You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

It looks like the rain cloud has descended onto the pitch now.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

That was a decent save by Panti from a long shot.

So close to a second goal. Looked like almost an owngoal to me though, but the commentators seem to think it was Nasti with the header.

Dave's been looking good, Dzeko's been pretty industrious too and cracking goal. Negredo isn't far off getting something if he plays the second half, i feel.

We need that guy from the Southern Comfort advert to model our new shorts. He could stroll down the pitch topless with his sunglasses on.

It was clear from the replay that it was Gardner who almost scored an o.g., even if it hadn't been from live action.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy: he's a sly little thug, Gardner
