That was down to both mancini and tevez.

Our resurgence was down, for the most part, to Tevez coming back.

That's how difficult he will be to replace. He firstly wanted out because his family were no longer with him. Of course, that was his doing, but it was a fact.

After that, it was all him and mancini. I hope we keep him at least one more season, even if it means him leaving for nothing next season. Us being back on top and doing well in europe is worth more to us than whatever we could fetch with his sale. By far.

You are starting to sound like one of those Samaras/Dzeko maniacs.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

And you only come out the woodwork when something's gone wrong.

What I meant by "starting to sound"? I don't know.

Imo, we should keep him if he will sign an extension otherwise let him go.

A short while ago he was telling his fans in Argy that he would love to go there but 'can't' for several years. At the same time he let slip here that he would be willing to sign a new deal. He could be in Argy this time next year, or even sooner, if he really wanted to, so the reason he 'can't' is that he plans to stay imo.

Whether that deal is still on offer now Bob has gone & whether Pellegrini wants him, I have no idea, but I'm pretty confident we did intend to offer him a deal & he fancied signing.

If we were going to puinish him we should have done so at the time.

Imo, Mancini's finest hour was bringing back Tevez. Few on here would have done it, most managers wouldn't have done it, but Mancini did & imo without that, we wouldn't have won the title. He put the club before personal issues & it worked.

Once that had happened, we had another chance to move Tevez on at the end of the season. Instead, we played him as pretty much our main forward all season.

Suddenly deciding to get arsey with him now, would be ridiculous.

If every player gave the same amount of effort, passion and desire on the pitch we would have no problem at all.
He's such a unique player, there genuinely isn't another like him.

not seen any figures but Cheshire taxes suck compared with Monaco

What would be the tax outcome with this? I guess that footballers have some accountant to sort out their taxes to a favourable level while UK based, but would signing for Monaco long term, then playing in Monaco for one season allow him to be resident there, while being 'loaned' back to Argentina? Or is that too long-winded (and fanciful) a method to avoid Argentinian taxes (especially considering their current economic situation)?

I think to get arsey with him now makes more of a point. We used him to win us the league now we don't need him fuck him off.
Thanks for the goals.

The main thing in his life is his family - Flopsy and whatever. They are settled in Cheshire, speak English, go to school and have friends I expect. They know they will return to BA in a year or 2.

This process took about 4 years - so is anyone really suggesting he will uproot them all and pack off to another foreign-speaking country?

Never in a million years.
