Thankyou. Rags are still better than us at 'unlocking the door' so to speak. Mainly due to their basic style. If you get enough crosses into the box, eventually one will land nicely for you or someone will prod it into their own net.
We play very short passing, which is fantastic when it works- far superior to the Rags style but our problem has been a lack of a plan B when this doesn't work.
Over the years, so many teams have gone to OT or faced them at home, sat back all game and ended up losing 2-0 to scrappy goals. I always got frustrated and cried out for teams to have a go at them and actually test them. Pre takeover we were actually one of the best at this - we had farily average teams and we took them on and took them apart - memorably the 4-1 a few years back! Heck we beat them with Vassell and Fowler in our team!
I honestly believe the way to beat them is to attack them, rather than sit back.
I don't think QPR could have done much today - theyre a vastly crap and inferior side. Yes they held us, but we missed about 4 good chances that game. Rags only had about the same amount of good chances today.
