Thankyou. Rags are still better than us at 'unlocking the door' so to speak. Mainly due to their basic style. If you get enough crosses into the box, eventually one will land nicely for you or someone will prod it into their own net.
We play very short passing, which is fantastic when it works- far superior to the Rags style but our problem has been a lack of a plan B when this doesn't work.

Over the years, so many teams have gone to OT or faced them at home, sat back all game and ended up losing 2-0 to scrappy goals. I always got frustrated and cried out for teams to have a go at them and actually test them. Pre takeover we were actually one of the best at this - we had farily average teams and we took them on and took them apart - memorably the 4-1 a few years back! Heck we beat them with Vassell and Fowler in our team!

I honestly believe the way to beat them is to attack them, rather than sit back.
I don't think QPR could have done much today - theyre a vastly crap and inferior side. Yes they held us, but we missed about 4 good chances that game. Rags only had about the same amount of good chances today.

Yeah and he has got more desire to be a pro footballer and a consistent winner than id say 60% of our squad.

He's a prick but my lord does he want to win.

I have to agree. However, it'd be funny if we did.

Obviously it's easier to agree with you.

Besides our own game of course I'm really looking forward to the final of the League Cup. Two teams that really wanted this have done their best and have been duly rewarded. Tomorrow one or several journalists (perhaps even today) will write the classic "this shows that noone really cares about this cup lba bla bla bla" but for me, I think this final pairing is awesome. Determination and grit counts for a lot and they've played well to get to the final.

Yeah!

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Aye.
Lovely story behind that final.

Edit: I'm hoping Bradford can all the way there

Didn't she predict the 4-0 against Leeds as well?

I like Michu. Don't think he'd suit our system though. Has this annoying habit of shooting and working the keeper.

Impressed that the ads round the side can change when a goal goes in. Best part of the game so far.
