What we would fucking like, is for the pundits to give a fair assessment...not to say we are brilliant (which we are) every time we play.
Can you and that other thick cunt NOT UNDERSTAND THAT?
Brilliant.
Brf is constantly trying to tell everyone how it really is and he hasnt a fucking clue.
Fuck off trying to tell people what opinion to have when yours is the worst one on the board.

The opinions are fine (I agree with yours), its the whining and crying that pisses me off. We know how good we are, and the only real proof will be the results. People need to chill out.

That's just an example of the kind of shit these people do every day; blame us for getting above our station; create a bad image of us, then shoot us down. The twat who hung that effigy of Tevez from a bridge, burned it & photographed it had people in Argentina slagging us off.
The constant references to how much our team cost, whilst a Utd team packed with multi million pound players strugges like fuck to beat Swansea without any mention of their cost. Why ? Because the media have set the agenda that we are going to get shit for money related matters & they are not. There are scores of such examples appearing on a daily basis.
While they may be biased on MOTD, it's far surpassed by the amount of whinging on here about it. Sounds like to be happy you need everyone to constantly recognize how great City are at all times.
There's 19 other groups of fans who want MOTD to praise their team too. Don't care so much about what other people think/say or just blow off some steam and get laid.

Why? The portrayal of our club in the media determines how people perceive us. Why is it so wrong to ask for fair representation and not the usual biased drivel?

Actually Mancini made the opposite comment recently; that we had a long way to reach Barcelona's level. He's right.
In fairness some of yesterday's defending wasn't good enough. Vinnie made a couple of bad mistakes which resulted in chances, Joleon missed a header which gave away another one and probably should have cut out the pass which led to the goal. It wasn't our best performance by any means but most of our team were involved in international duty with virtually no recovery time against none of the bar codes (?). We still beat them well enough though.

The main point about MOTD is that it's shite.

On the highlights I heard the pundits say that we were the leagues top scorers, that we were good at closing down the oppo, that they thought Micah should have been playing for England and also they said we were LEAGUE LEADERS. Is that slagging us of?If they said some bad stuff about us is that not balanced by the other stuff.
They said we were workmanlike and highlighted Joe Hart as a stand out performance! Is that an accurate reflection of the game?

Motd final review. City 6 - 1 Utd Let's ask the lads. City: "poor made too many mistakes, after spending all that money". Utd: " played very well unlucky to lose". I am very surprised this isn't what they said

Those who don't like it, rather than creating 8 threads a week about it why not just find some online highlights and turn the volume off? Funny how every team's fans (including uniteds) thinks MOTD dislike them. They must just hate everyone then, the nasty people.
And Lee Dixon not a city fan Ted? What the fuck? He's a blue, just because he's not a biased one sided cunt doesn't mean he isn't a fan.

In that case how many games does he go to in his spare time, seeing as he'll get tickets for fuck all ? Anyone seen him there when he's not working for the BBC ? Perhaps he comes to the Champion's Lg games ? I should imagine a lot of the staff are mates with him now, given the amount of time that has passed since he retired ? Perhaps he visits the training ground etc because even Uwe & the Goat have managed that when living outside the country & Dixon has ex Arsenal mates at the club too. Must be there quite a lot eh ?

this argument is pointless ... Ted(and others) pay for this TV service, they have a right to voice any criticism they may have. You may not agree with their opinion, but telling them to stop making threads or just not watch the program is absolutely wrong. Argue with them about the opinion not about what they choose to watch and the reasons they watch it.
Absolutely stupid on the part of bridge and rag_hater ... surprising ...

well their hate of us seems to have boiled over to new levels as they have released a MOTD 3 online to [strike]chastize[/strike] praise City.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 814270.stm *disclaimer* very cringeworthy, awkward video
I guess they managed to give us a quick tug during all the scum/donkey(?) cock sucking they've been doing

The problem is that MotD will never be the insightful Mr Gray analysing every goal / mistake with lots of flash graphics - it is a short clips show & worth it to see the goals, but the punditry leaves a lot to be desired. I think that they're somewhat erring on the side of caution, as if it goes tits up then blowing smoke up our arses early on will look ridiculous - if we're still there come say February then I think you'll notice a change in attitude as they start to accept we might well be a team & can actually win the league - TBH the transformation from last season has been nothing short of impressive & I've got to give Mancini shed loads of credit for achieving that - it feels like a dream & I hope I never wake up :)

Does that argument not apply to me.Can Ted(and others) say what they like without me having the right to reply.Surley we must both have the same rules. If I can tell them to suck and see and they tell me to fuck off arn't we equal.I pay for my TV aswell.
Absoluteley stupid on the part of the list is to long
