After a night to sleep on it, and after the beers wore off, I have changed my view back to 'Not Sure'. Being a City supporter, we always have hope, but from the tactics again last night, I am still very unsure about the way he sets the team up. To sit back so deep allowing teams to stream into our half unopposed, does not sit to well with me. Last night, United could have had the game sewn up with 20 minutes to play after the numerous chances they had (Rooney, Carrick etc), and it was only their poor finishing that kept us in it.
Can I add though, that their first 2 goals came from 2 very dubious incidents. The first was obviously when Bellers got pelted, where the team switched off and the ball was in our net straight from the corner. The second came as a result of the Micah/Fletcher tussle, again the team switching off. That is something I don't put down to Mancio, but down to the players on the pitch.
Hopefully with players coming back, the tactics will change, or maybe we'll just see very defensive minded displays. As long as we get the points though.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
