If not they just declared a healthy profit having sold a load of assets that had no such value in previous years. So if they’ve got the cash we should issue a county court judgement and then a winding up order. That would be funny if rather unlikely.

They haven't sold Assets, Future intangible Revenue from broadcasting is not an asset because they are not in possession of the Revenues - smacks of corruption. . They have thrown the baby out with the bath water.

Mate I absolutely agree with you. Technically they have sold assets, their stake in a media company and then they have given up future income in exchange for a cash payment now. The sort of thing desperate people or gamblers do with loan sharks. It’s no different to what Leeds or Rangers did as far as I can see. It shouldn’t be allowed and City are foolish to have agreed terms like this if there’s no recourse due to breach of contract.

RE City, not really , once they default on paying City , City can call in the grim reaper. That would be nice. Barca and Madrid need taking down a few steps. Just like the rags and scouse.

Barcelona still owe City 52 million euros , having only paid 3 million euros so far.

But we never do them any favors.........do we.

The fuckign interest alone would add another couple of million in the last year alone.

If we can recoup most of the fee maybe it wouldn’t be a bad move all round.

One of the worst signings we have made in decades.

Even Mangala had a great first game. All downhill from there but you could see why he’d been bought. Mendy had the occasional good game. Phillips has looked totally out of his depth and I’ve not seen one positive thing from him. Doesn’t even look arsed, which is the most concerning thing. Heart is a big part of it with Pep - and we’re talking about a guy that came back from the WC overweight!!!

I'd like us to sign James Maddison.

Was watching Sky Sports last night and in the right of the screen they were scrolling through “top scorers”….”most assists” etc and on one of them it had James Maddison and under his name had “Man City” listed as his club.
Most probably a typo but you never know ;) was the only mistake on all the lists

He's not suitable for us, skilful player but with a very poor injury record and an unpleasant personality.

I've seen a few reports suggesting Walker's going to be a target for a few clubs in the summer (with Sheff Utd being one of them regularly mentioned). There's definitely a downward trend in his playing time, but should we sell, or keep for another season (possibly letting him go on a free at the end of next season)?

I'd be in favour of keeping him, and trying to get him to sign a one-year extension, on the understanding that he's by no means a starter, and will be mainly featured in the cups and last couple of games of the CL group stages. If he doesn't want to sign for another year, I'd accept letting him go on a free at the age of 34.

I'd go along with this idea. We've seen his heir apparent in Rico and he has the potential to make that position his own. Guess it's over to Kyle, would he be happy with the bit-part role. Pep is on record saying Walker cannot play the inverted role so his game time is already limited and I cannot see him learning that role

Loads of legs left in the tank for walker and loads of games for him to play.

He will pocket vinicius jr in the cl just watch.

He has at least another two years as a valuable squad member left in him and then at least a year in a withdrawn role.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't want to lose Walker just yet. Still not seen anyone outpace him yet even if he is 32

Agree that they are all worth keeping but we do look at the contracts wirh a business head on when a player gets older. I'd love us to keep Gundo but we may not offer the extension in terms of duration that he wants. Any team would happily take all three of these

Walker and Gundo want to stay but they'll only be offered 1 year deals as per we've always done on that age bracket.I think that's the stumbling block with Gundo as he wants 2.
Bernie is different, he wants to go
