Unsure if any of the kids leaving were offered new contracts.

But those two are the proof that we've moved up a level. When they joined they were both amongst those who's names would be first on the team sheet. They both now realise that the level has gone up and they will get limited playing time.

Jesus has never been first name on the teamsheet?

You're splitting hairs, I don't mean literally the first name on the teamsheet.
When they signed, they could both expect to be first team regulars, now they can't because the bar's been raised.
And they both know it, so they have the choice of moving on and being big fish in a smaller pond, or renewing their contracts and not playing regularly.
And I imagine that's the way it's going to be from now on, certainly while Pep's here.

He was never leaving. Hopefully he screwed them.

The BS has started (through omission this time).
Did a quick google, not one mention of his new salary anywhere?
Maybe he took a pay cut for the honor of representing Liverpool for another three years![]()
So not a word about his salary, add-ons, the total cost to Liverpool and if it compromises Liverpool's wage structure.
Nothing about potential unrest in the camp, with the likes of VVD demanding a pay rise.
Compare with the reporting when Haaland joined - transfer fee, add-ons, image rights, agent fees, Dad's fees, bonuses, etc...![]()
Does this mean Nunez or Diaz are surplus to requirements?
Media have told us they are the Salah and Mane replacements and how clever Liverpool were with planning their replacements![]()
Bet it switches to strength in depth, two world class players for every position.
Salah is 30, I don't care how well he looks after himself, he has peaked and the next three years will show he is in decline.

Paul Joyce of The Times reporting: He will earn ‘in excess of £350,000 a week’ and this ‘makes him the highest paid player in Liverpool’s history’.
Excellent, VVD was their highest earner on £200K a week, has to unhappy bunnies in the camp now....................

Exactly, and VVD looks like a moaning cunt.
Hopefully they will implode.

Possibly not much difference in us giving KDB 5 years at a similar age and salary
