Zabba should just be grateful he was picked for such a glamour fixture given the season he's had.

pisses me off every time i see joe hart laughing with rooney about some bullshit. They always capture that shit eating grin on camera too. Doesn't fill me with any sort of confidence when you are fucking having a laugh with the fucking enemy. I'll never understand the mentality of stepping onto a field against an opponent and joking around with them. They are the enemy from the time the last fixture is over till the whistle blows for full time. Then the next team is the fucking enemy.

We looked like the Champions for the first 20mins and should have made it pay.

The first cycle in our new chapter has come to an end , the next one begins in the summer.

I have every faith in our owner , failure is not an option and will not happen.

I have loved every minute of it.

Daniel Taylor says Pellegrini quickly in and out of the Press Conference. No indications of what's wrong with the team and no sign he knew either.

From the start of the season we was told the hollistic approach was what the club wanted, i.e the kids playing the same way as the first team so that when they ready to step up they will get in to the routine quicker.
what i dont understand is that we have been loaning players out left right and centre.
With not one player getting a spell in the team, ok so we have been playing in cup competition and important league fixtures but we havent seen a single player from the eds.
the players have been shite since dec/jan but pelle has not dropped any of them.
We brought in sagna for free but on a tidy wedge hes 32yr old ffs, demi extended his contract, and lampard who was surplus at the chavs.
im pretty sure 4th will be ours but it all could have been so different with players who give 100% and passion.

I think today was the first time in awhile we got the formation right ... and the few times we actually made incisive runs (and scored) came from overlaps and positioning ... not having dzeko play left wing.

I cannot believe that the 442 is how we are setting our youth teams up to play, and this was more representative of how we want to play as an organization ... we could have had the game sealed in the first 20 ... but we shrank into our shells after giving up shit goals and there wasn't a player on the pitch who wanted to take the game by the scruff of the neck. We lack a leader on and off the field.

The game was begging for Yaya to destroy tear their midfield up and make smalling and jones look like the small time fucks they are ... but that yaya packed his bags last summer, and probably had them mailed out over the winter. He is not interested in doing that for us anymore.

This is 100% true, but if players such as Zabba are responding like that, they probably have a reason for it. Totally wrong of course but they must feel he has run out of ideas. I wouldn't imagine Robbie Earle to be a shit stirrer tbh, so if he says that's the case, at least he probably believes that's what he witnessed.

These lot would have no chance playing like the kids do.

Shameful shower of mercenary shite.
Forget this season, plan the clear out now.
We need players with hearts and souls.
I demand a fans forum with Pellers and today's squad to explain publicly their attitude and tactica, also the fans can give them a deserved bollocking.
Players should also pay expenses and compensation fans who crossed The City of Manchester Border to watch that vile display.
Yes, I'm not being irrational.
Shower of mercenary vomit.

I've heard that rumour too about him. I don't think he would make it up. Whether he is interpreting what he saw correctly, is another matter but I don't see him as trouble causing. I'm confident he is telling it as it appeared to be.

The holistic approach is just business speak for 'We need to maximise our profits on sale', ensuring they play and look the business. The fans looked at it and believed it was about incorporating the youth and took it hook, line and sinker. Another excuse to get rid of our past.

We now need to regroup, sort out the ins-and-outs, and move on.

We're any goals offside? I thought 3 looked dodgy from the stands. Perhaps just clutching at straws as otherwise thought ref was fair

The holistic approach means building towards the same style throughout the club, so that both the kids and new signings are all going in the same direction.

It is a fantastic plan and the right way to go. It's hard enough having to listen to the media using their misunderstanding of it as a stick to beat us with, but i really don't get our own fans falling for it.

It is GOING to work. It takes more than two years for it though. That is absolutely for sure.

Now, the problem is that the signings we made, for the most part, weren't in the top bracket.

The holistic approach has absolutely nothing to do with that. Nothing. It is also there so that IN TIME we can move managers as we like without needing a rebuild every time. Just like Barca.

Please stop joining in on the media's complete ignorance of the overall plan and saying shit like "well that didn't work".

For me, 2 were and the fact that the likes of Jones didn't get a yellow told me all I needed to know.

No OD, that was already in-place. The holistic approach was sold to us on the sacking of Mancini on the premis that we would see the EDS players coming through the system, as if it was happening under the new management.

I don't need to say anymore.
