Heartfelt condolences to fellow Blues and all Brits on such a incomparable loss.

HRM Queen Elizabeth II truly epitomised Leader leading by humble and graceful example.

With her passes away the last of those kind of giants breed on last century kind.
We now are all left with the contemporary midgets (thought of which makes me sick as nothing else)

R.I.P. Your British Majesty

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Been away, so first time on here for a week.
As far as I'm concerned The Queen has been been incredible for 70 years, and no superlatives can describe how magnificent she has been.
Pure perfection.

I doubt even those twats will do anything other than observe the minutes silence and show the necessary respect. You can bet that just in case BT will be ready with the mute buttons though

UEFA have banned British clubs from playing the national anthem before their CL games .
RANGERS will ignore the rule and I hope Man City will too.

UEFA are a fucking disgrace .

They've banned the clubs from playing it - there's nothing they can do if the fans sing it themselves. Hopefully all fans of British clubs will do this spontaneously during their games. Show UEFA up for the absolute cnuts they are!

Serious question: Is the idea to play/sing God Save the Queen (as a farewell to Elizabeth II) or God Save the King (to herald in Charles III)? Or are people supposed to make up their own minds about what to sing if/when the music starts to play?

It seems (from the Daily Mail, admittedly) like Rangers specifically asked for God Save the King, which I don't think should be played at an international football game (without the other country's anthem also being played), whatever the circumstances. But as a final farewell, I'm all for God Save the Queen being sung, if that's what the public want.

Imagine the outrage from these morons if a minutes silence for Hillsborough was disrespected, there would be an action group formed demanding compensation for their emotional pain

That waa exactly what the families of Hillsborough or whatever they call themselves had said beforehand. You can have no complaints if others respond in kind.

Once a Queen dies so does the anthem to her name (this should be obvious) , the Kings anthem takes over.

Singing GSTK Its still a sign of respect to the Queens passing though and should be sung , especially now,IMO.

Interesting suggestion from Read but Never Red
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_ ... 4437689304
If you can't see it it's basically a suggestion that fans sing GSTK (after minutes silence).

Not sure I would but plenty probably would join in.

Perhaps it begs the question, should the club play it and face UEFAs wrath?
