Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Anyone thinks Grealish doesn't add to the team need to give their head a wobble. As for his price tag, didn't Ben White go for 50m to arsenal from Brighton? Yes Grealish is not worth 50m but Mendy is worth 52m!!!

Signing him for 100m and losing Bernardo, to whoever, for say 50m is a bad deal for me.

I don't want Grealish, I don't see where he adds more value than what we have?
I don't want to spunk £100m on him that's for sure, he is not worth more than £50m and that's overpriced due to the stupid market rates.

Kane is not worth that money either £80m yes in the stupid market but £160m... Fuck off Levy, keep him please. An unhappy player in that squad would be welcomed, captain too.

Haaland is my No1 target with Mbappe as 2nd choice. That's where your energy should be Txiki.

Spot on!

Agree in the main with this evaluation
Apart from given a choice between Bernardo and Grealish I think I'd plump for Grealish. Bernardo has been too inconsistent and off colour long enough that it isnt just a blip in form. But I absolutely agree that Grealish isnt worth the £100M Villa are reportedly holding out for.

And as for Kane. £160M? No fucking chance. On the last day of the window with Kane on strike we should offer a take it or leave it £70M. Let them keep a want away player whose value will only decrease

IMO signing Kane and Grealish is a no brainer, regardless of the cost. They will make us better.

There are two other angles to signing Kane and Grealish that would benefit the club enormously IMO.
Both are English, Kane is captain, world cup is looming.
1. VAR decisions will start to go out way and 2. Commercially we would benefit (PL is global big business and both those players have stardust overseas in places like India and China with the 2+ billion populations).

Well my mate, villa fan with alleged insider info, insists that a fee of around £88 million was already agreed before the euros so one assumes the finer details are being dealt with now such as sell fees etc

Bernardo improved last year after a slump the previous season but he was still below his peak of 2017-2019.

I’m a Bernardo fan and would prefer him to stay. I still think our priority purchases are a striker and a left back.

But if the rumours are true that we are looking to sell him to help fund our transfer business this summer then I can understand why the club may do it.

Rumours that Grealish is looking to reject us because we’re forcing fans to use e-tickets. Can anyone confirm?
