I'm listening (at work) on Talksport, and it's not been bad so far. They have Eddie Large as the guest Blue. The presenters did boo the anthem, which made me smile

how soon will the times of games dates be confirmed ?
Is it a case of first out home first or UEFA decide to suit themselves ?

I always think of being away in second leg gives you control over away goals. I wanted to avoid Atletico so happy enough

Home first isn't ideal but I think avoiding Bayern Munich was a result.

Madrid has been eliminated each of the three times they've played the second leg at home. Let's not mess up the first leg.

City will play Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final with the first leg to be played at the Etihad Stadium.

The Blues will play the first leg at home on 26 April.

The return leg will be on 4 May at the Santiago Bernabéu with the winners facing either Atletico Madrid or Bayern Munich on 28 May at the San Siro, Milan.

Whoever triumphs from City's tie will be deemed the home team in the final.

Manuel Pellegrini, of course, managed Real Madrid in 2009/10 and signed Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema for a combined fee of £110m.

The Blues' boss oversaw a record points haul for Madrid during his year in charge but was unfortunate to find Barcelona in equally irresistible form with the Catalans accumulating 99 points. The Chilean was replaced by Jose Mourinho before taking over Malaga.

Dates and ticket details will be announced shortly.

Fuck... I had kind of resigned myself to this season having already been over, albeit another trophy winning season...
And then he had to go and get us into the semi-finals and a couple of steps away from being European champions.

My nerves are already beginning to go FFS.

What a time to be a city fan. Hopefully this goes some way to shutting up some of the whinging spoilt bastards that have been littering the board lately. The sense of entitlement was sickening.

Motivation. From this season we know how important that is. Here is Pelle's (lifted straight from wikipedia):

Excellent. I can hardly wait. Hatred can be a great driver.

"I didn't have a voice or a vote at Madrid. They sign the best players, but not the best players needed in a certain position. It's no good having an orchestra with the 10 best guitarists if I don't have a pianist. Real Madrid have the best guitarists, but if I ask them to play the piano they won't be able to do it so well. He [Pérez] sold players that I considered important. We didn't win the Champions League because we didn't have a squad properly structured to be able to win it."
