very true.

just would be helpful to finally not draw one of the mega clubs. can we not get benfica or porto?

both chelsea and united did not draw anyone too difficult there last year as i recall, and chelsea had an easier path in the first knockout round as well. arsenal did have a tougher group so they get some credit for last year's performance there, but seems they seem to rarely draw difficult teams there.

helps when you are in the first pot it seems.

umm...they have not been there for ages, lost their best player, and have several new players to blend in, and are not as deep nor even as good as last season. compared to use being more experienced and having more players familiar with each other besides clearly possessing the better squad.

whatever they're smoking must be the good stuff...
