Next Sunday won't be a bad day for him to find form. Let's hope Aguero's available.

I can see the typical signs of a striker playing his way back into form.

At the beginning of this dry patch, he wasn't even getting on the ball.
He got himself into three excellent positions today and had he got the touch on the navas cross that led to the jovetic goal, it would have been a pure "giving it everything" poacher's goal.

My problem with him was that he was completely missing and his hold up play was non existent.

All he is missing now is goals and with his work ethic, they're gonna come soon.

I hope you're right but I wouldn't let him have any part in the match at Anfield. Jovetic should be well ahead of him now.

We should continue to bring Negredo on in home games when we are ahead to build him up. Jovetic is still a surprise package to the opposition so I think we should use him first

Negredo's overall play today was much better. Back to playing people in down the flanks and getting into the box. Just missed a goal by a whisker although when he was clean through he should have scored.

I still believe in Negredo; I think he's a terrific player and his style of play is perfect for our team.

I'm sure that over the next couple of games we'll see the 'old' Negredo return and he'll be on fire for the final few weeks of the season. All he needs at the moment is a goal under his belt.

clearly lost his confidence.

no way should we give up on him.

players usually take awhile to adjust to the premier league. sure, he's a physical player but the league still takes its toll over the 38 or w/e games. we were spoiled by his amazing start to the season.

next season he'll be good....i hope.

His head was down after his one on one with the keeper.

If Aguero is back and with Jovetic coming back and Dzeko in better form I can't really see him getting on the pitch next week tbh.

I referred to that also. He looked really upset and almost fed up with himself after that.
Good to see he cares though.

Looks back to full fitness. Did everything right bar score and nothing easy fell for him. A scruffy tap in and he'll be back

We are not only talking about todays shit showing from him but rather the last 10 games hes played in he has not been the same player.

No way on gods earth should he start against Liverpool , if Aguero is going to partner anyone then it has to be between Dzeko and Jovetic , failing that, one for one Negredo should be last choice as hes been given chance after chance to regain his "Mojo" and it snot happening.

Just back him and he will come good again, this happens to all strikers well apart from Sergio,Messi and Tranny.

It doesn't happen to Sergio because half the time he's injured.

Zlatan knows you left him off the list because Zlatan is more than just a striker.

Never looked like he was going to score with either one on one. Although he did get goal side of his man but couldn't quite connect when Jovetic scored. A good sign perhaps.

I wouldn't have him near the starting XI next weekend.

As frustrating as Jayko is...he's in form in comparison. Which is a sad statement.

Particularly in the case of the first one, had that been Dzeko, he would have been slaughtered for such a half arsed effort.
