From the way I've seen the story evolve (I think before we were officially interested), he's angling for a massive pay rise, or a move to a club that'll match his wage demands. My guess is that the wage hike has been reported at some point in the press to be in the region of €150K (probably untrue). That's been translated by some to £120K, whereas others just swapped the Euro to a Pound sign (that's happened with a fair few other transfers in recent years, and not just with us).

Your persona of a sexually repressed and prevented old man who's stuck using middle school insults gets dull really quickly. Try changing it up a bit

He hasn't bothered to inform me what his beef is.

I shouldn't have to defend myself over that, but its a mystery to me why he spent last week following me round the board trying to rile me

Are you still mad?

If other people can see it its not all in your head mate.

I followed YOU around the board? Was it not you replying to my posts you absolute tit!

John68 is one of the nicest blokes i have ever had the pleasure to know.Yes he is a gobshite but he's my kind of gobshite and i say this with all honesty if he asked me to do him a favour i would'nt even ask why he is that much of a good guy.Sparty he rips the piss out of me solidly but it's just good natured banter and if you read between the lines of his posts you will see he never belittles anyone. He has opinions and yes they may differ from most people but one thing he has that we all have is his love of our great football club.I genuinely love the guy.Sparty you should make it your mission to meet John and i think you will change your opinion of him.

I think John got wound up a lil while back and rubbed a few the wrong way. Most of us have been round long enough to appreciate John and enjoy him sharing his knowledge of the good old days and being an all round nice guy. That said watching him post the other month was painful and I do see where the opinions being shared came from, we just know he's not like that 95% of the time.

Besides anyone that met a certain foreign poster gets a 3 month mental pass afterwards ;)

Correct. Unfortunately a few newer (than us) posters got caught in the cross fire/johns sounding off and their impression of him wil be different to ours that have enjoyed his company for years.

I joined the forum in 2008 (I could barely work a computer before that; in fact, when Royle was in charge, my family couldn't afford one), but first got my season ticket in 1993. Join dates of this forum mean nothing in and of themselves.

That said, if the guy's one of those who's constantly moaning about how bad things are at City these days - and I've got no idea whether he is or not - then he deserves to get some shit. We're living the dream as far as I'm concerned.

I think both are good posters - as I do you by the way. John68 is great off the internet as well, though. He's probably one of the biggest gobshites I've ever met, but he does talk a lot of sense and he's a good guy through and through.

Too many johns, I think they are both good posters too.
John68, overly attached to managers
John@, no issue at all with him, just bought he made a silly post above that's all

"Smarty Sparty" the mind reader strikes again...:-)
Why do you constantly continue to attribute opinions and emotions to me that I don't hold and have never expressed?
Do you really think you know what I am thinking?
How very arrogant that would be.

I stopped bothering posting on serious City topics some time ago, simply because it just seemed easier and much less effort to have you do it for me.
You have yet to post my opinion of Pellergrini. How very remiss of you...It seems you're not really up to the job of being my posting puppy....:-)
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Started reading the forum in the keegan era, only posted later on.

Joined dates don't define the level and overall length of your support, just the day you decided to get vocal with it.
