Sometimes by chance you just get chatting to someone you implicitly trust on all things City (with good reason) and find yourself becoming a tiny bit of an ITK. You don't want to name names cos you'll get that person in trouble. Seems fair enough really.

Not saying it'll happen like - just got told that the interest is not just speculation - it's genuine. Honestly don't mind if no one believes me.

I just hope you are correct whoever your sources are.
If we get these pair and a quality manager early, this could be a very exciting transfer window.

Falcao looks on a different level but him coming to us has never looked on. Voted for Cavani, he'll do some damage for us if he's as good as he looks.

Have to say though, I'd like to see young Benteke joining us, he looks a solid prospect.

Definitely.
Like I said, three pretty fantastic options. None of them are garbage by any stretch of imagination. Then again, neither is Dzeko despite what you might read here. Also, Lewandowski has better first touch than Dzeko.

I do agree that Lewandowski isn't the type that creates tons of chances for himself. But I would want us to improve our creative department anyway this summer anyway. In fact I think that should be priority. What's even more funny is that only Falcao of those is the type who creates chances for himself. Cavani is poacher type as well.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

To an extent but Cavani (of what I have seen of him) can turn half/quarter chances into goals with his power and pace (and touch)....Dzeko cannot do that (in the PL at least) and I have similar question marks re the Pole

Are you people picking Cavani because he looks more likely to join or because you genuinely think he's a better choice than Falcao?

The question was which one WOULD you have, not which one do you think we'll get.

A year ago I would have said Falcao by a distance, but imo Cavani has become a better player over the last season, similar to the way Aguero went up a level the season before we signed him, & I think Cavani would add a bit of 'Tevez' to the team; he's a grafter.

Both are overpriced though imo.

As for Lewandowski, he's not in the same class, but he's fucking fast & will get his share of goals. He'd be an ideal 4th striker.

It would be nothing to do with him.

Still think the cavani deal will go through and ed will be off to Germany.

Falcao is world class, but VERY expensive. Will the rags spend the money on him? Nope.

Kennyboy,

His point was that it's obvious to all that you're a rag and a sad rag at that.

That help?
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

If I can´t say my opinion and preferring Falcao without being called a sad rag, then he must be Cavani's lover.
And what does that have to do with my 563 post ..?

It's because some of your posts have opinions that seem to elevate the rags to a higher status than our club.

I think 66% of the people that voted didn't understand the question.

Cavani is not in the same league as falcao (he plays in Italy).

Just to add some perspective Balotelli scored 1 in 14 for us in the prem this season and has scored 12 in 13 in serie a.

True

Falcoa seems to be the whole package. Strength, skill, good shot to goal conversion and has a good eye for a pass. He seems more than just a striker.
Cavani though is a quality striker. Potent in front of goal and is fearless.

But to answer you question, my first choice would be Falcoa, then Cavani.

That's the thing. People still go on about Serie A like it's 1990. In past ten years or so Bundesleague has become better overall than Serie A. There's also the difference in style of football and conversion rate between leagues. Premierleague is by far fastest league whereas Serie A is by far slowest.

Now I'm not saying Cavani is not a good striker, all three of them are, but it's something to take into consideration.

And you are correct, I wasn't asking which player we will sign.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Out of those 3 I'd prefer Cavani, but I'd rather Lukaku, as I did last season.
