POST READING MATCH

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

If you couldn't see the difference in forward movement now the thought police have fecked off then you probably think we played free flowing football under Mancini and wonder how the rags won the title. That tonight was a delight from a coach trying to score more than the oppos rather than not concede and the players were clearly loving it. But how did Tevez manage to play for 92 minutes I wonder.

not as much disappointment as You and few other widows have shown all over the last three, very shameful, seasons.

I shall never feel disappointed when City get three points. Particularly when securing a runner-up position in the League a CL qualification.
Not many Blues travelling to Reading seemed to share Your joy at the disgraceful dismissal of the manager who restored success and pride at Manchester City F.C.

The king is dead, long lives the new king.
But if a dozen of sick notes on here have been free to vent constant abuse to the most successful and committed manager of the last four decades, can the others be entitled to state some regret???

wtf.

4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Of course, had we been playing a well organised counter attacking side like Dortmund, or the rags, we would have been hammered, but we weren't playing those, we were playing Reading, who were utter shite. Our finishing was also gash, as well as our defending of set pieces.

Doesn't change the fact that City played with a fluency & at times inspiration which has been missing for much of this season, & if some of you fuckers weren't so utterly stuck up Mancini's fucking arse, you would be pleased to see the same group of players have not lost it, & gain some hope for next season, rather than worrying that it could show your lord and master in a bad light.

It wasn't the end product, but it was very encouraging: you agenda ridden cunts.

I thought we played similar to what we've played all season.

Oh wait, what's this 'Agenda Ridden Cunts' you talk of?

You're a total and utter arse mate. You proclaimed you weren't a Mancini outer yet you now come out with that. I won't call you names, I won't call you a fuckwit who knows all there is to know about football, I won't even say you are lost in your own delusion. What I will say though is that you are a City fan and entitled to your opinion.

Well done.

Well said that man. The team seemed the exact same to me. The thread was started to suggest how much better the team was doing. What do you expect from ted, disagreeing with him results in insults. The Balotelli (ted the mind reader) thread proved that and he hasnt changed since.

Let's make this a regular thing.

A post match thread for every game where "fans" can freely bitch away at each other.

We'll call it the PMT thread.

Here's a thought, why only 2-0?

Similar percentage possession, similar passes per game etc but we win against a relegated team 2-0. That was after 30 shots, 11 on target.

One thing I will say is that I heard the away crowd, many of times, singing the Mancini somg. Regardless of how you try to paint a picture, he did an excellent job for our club.

Do you disagree?

I could think of at least 18 other clubs who would be overjoyed with the last 3 1/2 years that we've had.

I really enjoyed Brian Kidd's post-match interview. I really like him. I hope he stays on. Sounds very modest, very happy to be here, and loves football.

Feel like Brian Kidd read my preview, passing with intent, passes that would never have been made in other weeks, movement off the ball, width FUCKING WIDTH, closing down high up the field.

my agenda has been fulfilled...city played well.

One of the things I noticed was the overlapping runs that changed direction of play, it freed up a lot of room around that final third that wasn't happening under Mancini. I would have liked to see a better interchange in position between Yaya and Tevez when the ball went wide, as I think this has been such an obvious move that no-one has fucking seen yet, can't fix everything in 24 hours though I suppose.

On the positives, Silva looks more like the player we know he is than that shower we've seen for the past few months, Aguero and Tevez look like they could run through any defence although Aguero does need a rest by the looks. Jimmy should be one of the first names on any teamsheet and Kidd acknowledged this in the interview as well. Dzeko had some good touches and his calmness on the ball for his second was something to smile about. Some bad ones as well, but that's our Dzonkey for ya. Backline was shaky again, nice to see Micah back, but this was a hell of an adhoc defence, so it would be a miracle if they were cohesive right from the start. Joe with some great saves, that point blank header I was sure was a goal for them.

Not a bad win at all, 2nd secured and a final home game for the kids to get a run. Nice to have a post match interview where the manager isn't falling about all over the english language and you wonder if what they said was what they meant....ezzz not fucking normal.

Nope. I will say it again. Meaningless game between two sides who just want the season over with. We learnt nothing tonight.

some of us learnt that we have finished the season in second place (and secured the Golden Glove on the back of the best defence in the Premier League).

I knew we were finishing second in about March.

I'll always remember this season the iconic season of 2012-2013 when we won the Golden Glove and had the best defense in the league. I've already forgotten about the pitiful title defense, woeful CL run and losing to a relegated side in the FA Cup final now those two big prizes have been bagged.

Do you own the crystal ball or do you rent it? And has the Premier League declined any more?

Never a truer word spoken. Good win in almost meaningless game. Well done. But there's no competitive edge left this season. Where we are in christmas should be next time we make judgements one way or another.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

One thing i m sure . i don't know how will manager be or how we gonna play who will leave who will come but FFS that position of Barry and Garcia must have better player a tank if u will some Gattuso Barry and Garcia with Yaya at back can close shot on goal they are to fuckin slow and Yaya need to have player who will push him .Somebody who can at list be threat to hes place at team. Glad to see Silva Magic and Milner run like mad.But all in all no decent team would let us to have that much shots our player get ball in box so easy so its better game but not how many think it is. Aguero last year would score last night 4 easy. He just missing hes finish it would come to him.
