Agree there. That was the most disappointing thing about the result.

Not just that game either Wigan have been better than us on 2 occasions in 4 weeks there about to get relegated yet we manage to make them look good

Let's not take the credit away from Wigan as the fact is they were good regardless of our performance. Wigan always seem to come good at this end of the season and they were very good because they beat us and we put in a decent game.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Just to add to the mix, I noticed an interesting stat in an article about Ferguson. Based on win percentage, Mancini is the third best premier league manager of all time after Rednose and Mourino

If Mancini does go, does it mean we can start calling David Platt 'Mr Potato Head' again?

I am shocked that majority of city fans want him to go. I can understand we have had a poor sesaon but still does not mean he needs to go. We over achieved last season and thats what has cost him this season, the majority of players I feel have let him down. I can only think of one player this year who has done better than last season and thats Zaba and I cant only think of one player that has played as well as last season on a consistant basis and thats Tevez. So thats poor from the players and I know it all falls on the manager but likes of Kompany, Silva, Aguero & Yaya who we could rely on last season you not not say the same for this sesaon none have been consistent and could go as far to say have been poor more often than not.

Also I feel his people above him trying to bring in players that Mancini wanted have failed! The two ex Barca Cheifs have pretty much said they dont like how Mancini has come out and publicly criticised them which is understandable but he does have a point. They cant think Rodwell, Sinclair, Garcia and Nastacic are going to help us improve. The 20 year old has been the biggest surprise out of the lot and im sure even Mancini did not expect him to settle in as much as he has so early on.

I am unhappy with how this season has gone in all fronts but still dont feel he deserves to go, give him one more season that he deserves and if he cant get us back to where we were last season then yes he has to go. I just dont want us to keep sacking managers brining in new players every other season and never get any consistency.

I cant believe city fans want him out after achieving what he has in 3 an half years, you cant be the same fans that were at Wembley in 1999 surely.

Anyway thats my view and slight rant.

It's only 58:59 so pretty close and not much of a majority - with a few rebels you could topple a government with that sort of split

I really think that even despite the transfers saga last summer that Mancini has had an awful season this term. The three at the back debacle, some odd team selections, some very strange subs, poor 'in game' decision making, criticising players, showing complacency etc etc, in many ways it was like he was a lot different from last season, he didn't reach the same standards. Really it has been surprising but half of me says let him have another season and the other half says cut out the rot before it gets worse.

Anyway there's a few lads at the club paid huge salaries to make a call on this, lets hope they get it right.

Only just over ten percent want him to stay cos they rate him as a manager. Loads have this misguided idea that stability is important.
Whats important is the money. We know that the money is most important. Pay the wages and the prizes follow.
Everton and Arsenal have had stability and yet won fuck all, and don't look like they will anytime soon.
Bob has wasted huge resources. He isn't gonna change things now, this is his team. This is his way.
The biggest risk is keeping him and hoping that for some unexplained reason, he will change his mindset. Not a chance.

I voted he should go after yesterday something is seriously wrong within the team. For players to give a half arsed performance like they did yesterday and not even seem to care about it something definitely is amiss in the dressing room.My guess is the players don't want Mancini anymore and if they see his faults then his time is up.

I can forgive the first half performance, it could be expected that the players underestimated Wigan. The fact that after 10 minutes in the dressing room that Mancini could not only not turn it around but they went out and played even worse is very very worrying.

Still think some people have short memories, there is a very small pool of managers that could of won what Mancini has in his first 2 full seasons. Not only that Sparky signed some right rubbish admittingly he signed some of our best players even now but it was a mixture. So Robbie did have to bring in quality which he did and get them playing as a team and did all this in a short period, not only dealing with problems along the way like the Tevez & Balotelli which himself played a part in i know but still got the team winning things.
I agree money helps allot but you still have to get them playing together as a team and our football majority of the time last season was amazing as iut showed in the gaols we scored. It cant all be down to Mancini why we are not even half the team we were and with that said we still finnished 2nd which is my mind still is not poor from where we have come from in a short space of time.

As much as i hate talking about them red c**** they have built a winning team over many years and have a solid winning mentality and still in the games this season against one another Mancini has got the better of Fergie. We will only get that solid winning mentality by sticking with our manager and our best players, new managers want their own players and will be like starting over. Im sick of starting over!

You know, I am absolutely gutted.

I sort of want to change my vote but I know I cant. Mancini has never explained why we have these poor games or his stubborness with these stupid tactics he tried out. And I'm just so fed up and reckon he'd do the same again next season. It was so early in the season when we thought he'd try it for a bit then knock it on the head but he didnt.
Games where we've had the opportunity to finish it off and just not been arsed.. 3 points here.. there.. we could easily have been closer to the rags this season. Yes blame the players.. but it always stops with the manager. Its his job to make them play to their potential.

When asked.. 'Why do they play so poor?' .. he says he doesnt know. ffs.

Gutted, genuinely greatful for whats hes done but I dont think we have the time to waste.
